![Challenge Entry: Icon mini challenge [challenge entry]](/images/board_posticon_c.gif)
I did more icons for the mini challenge:
= Magnet
= Zebedee
= Pretty flower
= Have a b3ta day (not that keen on this one but I've made it now so have it)
BTW does anyone know is it possible to view the ones others have done as I can't find a way and it means I may be making ones others have already done better.
Also any requests as all mine so far are fairly self indulgent 'What I want' ones but I've got a good method and set up going now so can knock these out fairly easily (tho not everything makes a good icon I tried doing VINCENT last night and I just can't get him to look recognisable in the 15x13 px format due to his portrait aspect ratio: VINCENT =
tho I guess chopping off his 'legs' is an option but width is still an issue as his eyes really dictate the scale).

I've never figured out how to see all the entries though.
I would love to have a Lemming icon - tried myself and failed miserably!

It's possible for the board to display colour icons, we had them for halloween. Maybe if we all shoul loud enough Rob might do something about it.

but TBH, have been really enjoying working within the restrictions of 8 shades grayscale, reminds me of past lives when that was all I had!

He said no, since they would distract from the images and lose the identity of the board
or something like that

or something like that

That said, I believe they did have them in the very early days, the decision to swap over was a pretty purposeful one though from what I can tell

All of this seems reasonable. I like the idea of colour suddenly appearing for special occasions. For one thing, you wouldn't notice the candles so easily for b3tadays.

*Sees 'Magic Roundabout' crossed with notorious magnetic hands scene from 'This Island Earth' in my sick and geeky mind!*

I'll prolly do my usual with this, keep going till I feel I can't do any better, then get bored once it becomes routine and too much like unpaid work and do something else instead, so if anyone wants owt, request now before me mind wanders!

the early ones until 2004 went:
-furtive bear
-skull and smiley face
-dalek, kitten and spider
-then the ones with the badger in.

and it would just be a case of finding the pixelated chappy himself and converting him to greyscale I expect, which wouldn't be very fun or skillful, but I'll consider it if Google provides...

I could do it myself but I'm at work and only have paint :(
You're most likely correct, I still find it funny that a collection of around 16 pixels may be under copyright after 22 years-ish :D

I'll do one anyway, assuming I find the source needed (I can't remember him well enough to do him from memory) and I guess Rob or whoever decides these things can take it from there, eh?
