of the extending album art viral. which is relevant to the insipration/goal of this weeks image challenge. i actually struggled in finding these links via google so some people might not have seen them.

# Lovely.

You're quite good, you know.

# Nice image
what's going on? Are people resurrecting a dead image challenge?

Why?
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 16:32, archived)
# there was a challenge a few months back
called "extending album art" based on the above viral links. this weeks challenge is an extension of that. however some people might miss the point of adding something outside the scene rather than shopping the original pic for lulz
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 16:35, archived)
# Yes, hence me saying 'dead image challenge', it was one of the better ones

I wasn't aware that there was a point. B3ta's never had one before..

aha, you've ninjad and changed your point. I can't be arsed to remember what you were saying.

# i was patronising b3ta.
i don't think i have ever patronised anyone before. it felt good. *gets job in customer services*

# might?

Edit: better.

# I'm interpreting it as adding additional scenes that may have otherwise been left on the cutting room floor.

# agreed - should be like the good old 'O' levels
where the fuckwits who didn't read the question properly were consigned to working for the council on refuse collection.*

*edit - those twats are now probably on a gold plated 'final salary pension'

not that I'm a bitter late 30's bloke in the private sector paying their pension via my fucking huge tax bill - honest.

and anyway, why were you sleeping with a 32" telly near your legs?
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 16:50, archived)
# the telly table is an old computer table at the foot of my bed
It's sturdy, and the monitor platform bit is big enough for the telly, but the cats jumping on the top of it must have moved it towards me until it fell a few feet onto my feet and shins.

I hope the swelling in my toe goes before tomorrow, I've got quite an important tournament to play in. :(

actually that sounds quite nasty.

at the end of your bed!

a guy at my work is egyptian, and after coming back from a home visit, brought everyone rather nice paintings on papyrus. Very nice, and hand-made apparently.

He also returned from his holidays with the news that he'd got married while he was home. Which came as an enormous surprise, as he is the most socially-inept and campest egyptian I've ever met.
