# I do love your drawings and this poem :D
and you.

In my physics class there are tables which you can alter the height of each leg individually and I lowered half of the table so that i could get my rubber shaped like this () and roll it down. It made a sound like "fwip fwop fwip fwop" as it fell. I drew faces on each side - one happy one sad.
I remembered this from "fwip" in your poem.

*edit: haha! Thank you for your valuable Science™ results, it is now FACT that physicists have the best tables.

# Fucking about with tables, taking apart calculators and buidling fans when we should be working.
Now that's SCIENCE©
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:48, archived)
# can you just make the table impractically low?
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:44, archived)
# I think high would be more aesthetically pleasing.
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:46, archived)
# Each leg has a fixed heigh of about... 1.2 metres
And each leg can be adjusted to be about 5 cm longer

# bum
i was imagining 'go-go-gadget table!'
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:47, archived)
# That would be best :D
Especially if it could be made to walk.
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:48, archived)
# Well that is JUST excellent.

And it also reminds me of the b3ta book.
Anyone knows whatever happened to that? It was fun.

# people didn't do the bits they said they would and it stopped everyone else from doing it
I'm tempted to set one up myself, but I seem to be constantly snowed under at the moment

I may be being ignored. NOW how will I getting sexings? This makes me sad :(
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:47, archived)
# you're not being ignored, I'm just off and on the board between work
and no, its not glamorous work and worse its unpaid, which isn't good as I am getting very worried about paying some bills right now :(

If only the BBC would tell me how much I'm actually getting paid for The Wrong Door, £2.54 would come in very handy right now
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:53, archived)
# That's exactly what I thought

Well, at least I had my fun participating in the story.
I think I'd join again if anyone ever could be bothered to start a new one.

I first need to get out the snowplough myself before I can even think about taking it on myself though.

# i stopped my involvement because i felt that the deadlines were far too tight
i am sad to find that i was right
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:43, archived)
# I think they needed to be tight to keep things going though

far too many people were waiting for their turn
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:44, archived)
# Maybe next time, it could be multiple threads with different storylines.
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:45, archived)
# or more than one book :)
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:46, archived)
# hmmm, some people respond well to deadlines
others just get in a flap and can't finish
plus if i had to compromise quality for speed, i'd get disheartened
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:46, archived)
# it is dependent on what sort of book it is
a long running story is a great idea, but sadly it does require deadlines so people at the end of the cue aren't bored and left hanging.

lots of bits is good, but possibly too fractured, especially when you think of how varied the art styles are.
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:55, archived)
# Excellent!
and reminiscent of Jabberwocky
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:39, archived)
# Did you do the poem too?
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:46, archived)

I generally scribble a picture and some words from any dream that is worth remembering :)
(, Tue 16 Sep 2008, 20:56, archived)
# Well...
I don't know much about poetry or literature but I know what I like. And I really like this! I think it's actually very, very clever!
