# The last tour was a bit flimsy I thought
then the Festival date was a bit uncoordinated, still getting their band legs together it seemed
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:11, archived)
# yeah, I said below that I've seen the dvd of last year's tour (or from the year before...)
and was unimpressed.

(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:00, archived)
# In short, sharp steps.
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:02, archived)
# so i see.
is the ear sheltered from the wind, or would i have to build a fire to keep warm?
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:05, archived)
# That depends.
At this time of year I would probably start thinking about taking the lee ear, but earlier in the season I would prefer the fresh air to the shelter.

There is a deep brown wax in here which can niff a bit, but makes excellent Blu-Tak
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:07, archived)
# i hate to be cold
the lee ear it is.
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:11, archived)
# Watch out for the lice.
I use a concoction of my own devising, consisting of a mixture of lavender oil and a blackthorn stick.

To be honest, the lavender is optional.
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:16, archived)
# i find that coating myself in earwax works fine
the lice just slide right off.
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:18, archived)
# That's fine in the summer,
when you can sit in a breeze.

In autumn I avoid it because of the odour, although it can keep the frost off on particularly cold winters nights.
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:21, archived)
# if the ears are hairy
the hair can be woven to produce blankets that are both warm and waterproof. nose hair blankets should only be used as a last resort, they're much coarser and not at all waterproof.
(, Tue 7 Oct 2008, 23:29, archived)
# Ze nose!
It looks uncircumcised!
