# Yay.
Needs more poetry and listening to The Cure.

# i think that would be too much for barry.
He's not so good at expressions of feelings.

He does quite like spreadable cheeses.
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 11:42, archived)
# Indeed, they say he positively oozes them.
Or negatively, I forget which.

# I think Barry needs
Jeremy the Annoying Horse
in his life to help him cross his Dismality Threshold

# If only there were a website for people who love horses.
If someone could post a link, just imagine how many young lives could be enhanced.

(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 11:49, archived)
# I think I'm fine with it if people are letting the animals fuck them rather than visa versa.
although they do prefer using the term 'makes love to'
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 11:49, archived)
# The confusion of morality with disgust in the article is annoying.
"The question is whether immorality should be made illegal." Well, what does he think the rest of Norwegian laws are based on, expedience? (Of course not all immorality can be made illegal, but you'd hope that was the main consideration in such laws as exist.) The question is inherently wrong, and he's wrong about that being the question anyway. ...then again, maybe he means "immorality within the personal domain".
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 12:05, archived)
# I'm of the Millian opinion
that their should only be laws where harm to others has occured.

but this is still a particular grey area. Although i think as long as the animal aint getting penetrated.. job's a good'un.
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 12:11, archived)
# Yay actual harm principle.
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 12:13, archived)

I think I may have to dig out on liberty and give it another read some point soon.

he went on jerry springer just after he married a horse.

EDIT: www.dailymotion.com/video/x4jx5b_jerry-springer-at-gatech-2-i-marrie_fun filmed off a tv in a lecture theatre though.

:D
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 11:46, archived)
# Ah, but DOES he ?
Or does he just hide in his wardrobe all day ?
Jeremy would help him by either:
a)Smearing his shit for him, thus making Barry feel he had still achieved something, or:
b)Getting into his wardrobe and encouraging him to leave his woody confines and smear some shit.
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 12:00, archived)
# Aww poor Barry :(
I totally agree with him about the diary though. I always panicked when someone gave me a diary when I was a kid knowing I would only ever get through the first week (if lucky). Even later when I had to buy a diary for work appointments I had that frisson of dread on first opening it.
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 11:43, archived)
# poor little bunny *hug*
my meh ness about diaries stems from the fact that I knew my mum picked the lock on my sister's.

good times.

EDIT:*hurridly adds an apostrophe*

# I know that temptation too.
My three stepdaughters all kept diaries when they were little and the level of trust in our house was such that they never locked their doors when out and their stuff like all kids was all over the place.

I never nagged them about tidying their rooms but they knew I went in there to collect laundry & used crockery so I guess they felt safe in leaving their diaries wherever they dumped them.

I am proud to say I never opened any of them not even once but the willpower I had to exercise to achieve that surprises me to this day.
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 11:56, archived)
# wahey :)
go team trust.

suprised that you had it.. or that it took that much?
(, Mon 18 Jan 2010, 11:58, archived)
# Both, I guess!
I guess!I have a surprising lack of willpower and had anyone put this scenario to me as a "what if" I would have said my scruples would have gone immediately out the window at the temptation of reading an unattended repository of all things secret. Especially if the possibility of my being mentioned existed in any way.

I can be all smug and sanctimonous about it now though he he he.
