Another WTF? moment from the world of gun-wielding MRAs.
Not being a gamer, I've been only half-watching the GamerGate nonsense - but this is just nuts. Anita Sarkeesian was invited to give a talk at Utah State University; a gun-toting manchild threatened to kill her and several others unless it was cancelled (see his letter at the end of this article), because feminism had somehow ruined his life; the University said that it was going to allow people to take concealed guns onto the campus anyway; Sarkeesian (unsurprisingly) decided that she possibly didn't want to give her talk after all.

I think that's quite apt, it's impossible to tackle because no two people think its about the same thing, or at least what the most important bit is.
It's so convoluted you could believe it is about anything now and be sort of right, from the more logical (just angry teens unable to express themselves) to a viral media campaign to raise some profiles gone very wrong and on to the obvious "it's a plan by women to end gaming".
