This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Repeal the Human Rights Act for prisoners
Anybody in prison should have no rights. People who commit crimes should have no rights. Legalise all drugs and tax the shit out of them, and heavy punishment for those who sell without a licence to do so.

Reduce fuel duty. Ban reality TV, nobody wants to see Z-list "celebs" get their cocks/rats out. Bring back Corporal Punishment for kids, it didn't screw up the older generation.

I could go on and on about this...

A Tory is a Liberal who has been mugged by reality
Funny how many `left wingers' get all reactionary and right wing when it comes to THEM being affected.

I read the Daily Mail.

Because it leaves so many `tolerant and accepting' types bouncing up and down in paroxysms of rage on account of me not agreeing with them.

Some consistency please
So you want to tax the shit out of harmful drugs but cut tax on fuel, which kills several thousand people every year through atmospheric pollution and enables the death of several thousand more through traffic accidents.

What's your overall aim here?

I don't understand either.
After all, it's well known that recreational drugs keep people's homes warm in winter to stop them from dying of hypothermia. They're also good for getting people to work so they can be productive members of society. Oh, and good luck powering an ambulance without some form of illegal drug.

Strongly disagree about the prisoners, here are some reasons why.

1. It presumes that all crimes are committed out of some sort of evil. That's rubbish, if I attacked a guy who was trying to rape my girlfriend and accidentally killed him, I'd likely do time. Would I deserve no human rights?
2. People can go to jail for no good reason. A couple of years ago, a man was arrested and sentenced to two months prison for collecting abandoned golf balls from a water hazard and selling them for charity. That does not make him a criminal.
3. Reoffenders. In Norway, prisoners are treated with dignity. Their jail in comfortable, contains art and literature as well as education to allow inmates to learn skills for outside of jail. They have a very low rate of reoffenders.
4. You are mistaking the role of the justice system. It is not their to punish the guilty but to protect the innocent.
5. Who decides what a crime is? In some nations, it's a crime for a woman to be unaccompanied by a man, or that she is mere property. People can be stoned to death on accusations of affairs, even with little evidence. It can also be a crime to speak out against a religion or political party, should we be ok with these people having human rights removed based on the absurd notions of justice these countries opperate under?

That's just a handful of examples why I disagree with your idea.

Quite right !!!!
Let's fix all satire on the internet by not looking at the context

England vs Norway
Great Britain:
88,749 Square Miles, population 60,000,000+. Or, 277 people per square kilometre.
$35,125 per capita GDP

Norway:
148,747 Square Miles, population 4.9 Million. Or, 12.5 people per square kilometre.
$79,949 per capita GDP

So, Norway has under 1/10th of the population, double the national income per head and nearly twice the land mass. I think that might have something to do with the crime rates - the populace is under less pressure economically, geographically and socially than the UK. They can afford to be lenient on criminals because they will only have about five of them a year and have twice the governmental budget available to play at nurturing them.

If you want to argue based on facts, you might like to do some actual research first.

By the way, the justice system...
has nothing to do with protecting the innocent. Its purpose is to uphold the Law, irrespective of how that is done. The Law says that if you commit a crime, you are punished - if it was there to protect the innocent, there would be greater rights for victims in the legal system and the victim would be legally allowed to identify their attacker. In this country, it is up to the Law to do that - the victim can only act as a witness to the crime they were present at (and on the receiving end of).

Again, you *really* should do with being a bit more informed before attempting to climb to the moral high ground.
