Wakey Wakey!
Good morning OT.

What does this fine day hold in store for you?
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:09, 88 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Your Mum.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:15, Reply)
Morning Al.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:17, Reply)
Alright Jeff
I have to do some tidying today
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:21, Reply)
That doesn't sound very rock and roll Amberl.
I hope you'll be adding 'fun' to the mix at some point.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:23, Reply)
I hope so as well
woke up way too early
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:34, Reply)
'Mornin all
I have chores to do. Cleaning, de-clutter, unblocking the drains. I may go down to Asda to buy cider instead.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:24, Reply)
Get cider.
Get lots.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:28, Reply)
Is it bad form to drink cider before 11 o'clock?

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:30, Reply)
Nope.
It's part of your 5 a day, so a pint of apples at any time is good.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:31, Reply)
You are wise beyond your years.
They open at 10, I'll be pissed by 12.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:37, Reply)
See-Dra.
One pound a bottle. Absolutely gorgeous if you like your see-dra sweet.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:22, Reply)
Today holds a bunch of cleaning up for me
seeing as I've done chuff all since Thursday. I wouldn't bother today, but we don't have any clean plates left and the kitchen's just getting embarrassing.

Also, I have a feeling today a lot of rocking back and forth sobbing and necking great quantities of pain killers.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 9:45, Reply)
Have you been on the piss then?

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:20, Reply)
Toy Story 3.
I didn't cry. EMOTIONS OF STEEL. Ok, that's crap. They pitched it perfectly, I wept like a baboon with its big red arse caught in a bear trap. Food and more relaxation calls before work again tomorrow.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:03, Reply)
I've not seen Toy Story 3
And I've never seen a baboon with his arse caught in a bear trap.

*Adds film to list of things I ought to get round to watching*
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:09, Reply)
I'd recommend it, if you had any affection for the first two you'll like this.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:16, Reply)
It was a long long time ago that I saw either of them.
I'm pretty sure I thought the second one was better than the first.

So, it's a bit of a tear jerker yes.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:21, Reply)
Yup, they really nailed the ending.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:25, Reply)
I'm not sure I like the idea of getting misty eyed at a cartoon.
Watership down was a bit different, I was a child then.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:29, Reply)
i saw "scream 4"
lots of misty eyes in that.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:39, Reply)
Have you seen 'Up'?
that made me weep like an abandoned toddler.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:44, Reply)
honestly, I've been studying most of the day.
Summarising lectures for my structure and function class. 12 hours worth of lectures, each single lecture condensed into two or three pages. My hand is getting sore!
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:04, Reply)
You'll be glad you did it when revision time rolls around

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:07, Reply)
I know... I think our exam dates get released some time this week!

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:08, Reply)
I shall be off to the gym "at some point"
no really.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:20, Reply)
in theory
tidying the flat, cleaing, writing oxford work and then an hour in gym before personal trainer.

in practice....... maybe lunch in covent garden........
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:32, Reply)
You could do some cheese shopping if you go to Covent Garden.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:40, Reply)
who are you, satan?
get thee behind me.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:41, Reply)
I thought you liked cheese.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:55, Reply)

much much more than i like cleaning and the gym.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:58, Reply)
Have you had your cleaner deported?

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:26, Reply)
PAIN
I had my first experience of paintballing yesterday and now my legs are like two big sandbags with bruises attached.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:54, Reply)
ohhhh man, I can't imagine you doing well at that sorry sweetie...

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:56, Reply)
I didn't do too badly once I got into the swing of it.
But no, I wasn't particularly good. I did surprise myself with how high my pain threshold turned out to be, but I'm paying for it today...
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:58, Reply)
yeah it's the adrenaline. Increases your pain threshold unless it's life threatening.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 10:59, Reply)
And there I was thinking I'd been all grown-up and manly about it. Damn biologists...

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:01, Reply)
this is why god also made laserquest...

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:01, Reply)
Paintballing is far more fun!

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:28, Reply)
well you were being grown up and manly!!
it's just today you're feeling it.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:32, Reply)
I was supposed to be seeing family today
But I've slept in, and as a result I think my parents have driven up to Liverpool without me, my own fault.

So, if that's the case, a day of relaxation!
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:27, Reply)
At the moment I'm working simultaneously in 3 continents, I'm like a god or something
Later it'll be either beach, pool, or sitting around in my pants scratching my bollocks.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:47, Reply)
i like bollocks

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:03, Reply)

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:08, Reply)
I like gay men
who have no morals, and love breasts.

Also, I like shoes.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:10, Reply)
this reads as if you are describing broadsword...
...... not sure what he will make of that though!
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:12, Reply)
Why ?
Is he gay? I do like the occasional grope from a gay man.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:36, Reply)

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:32, Reply)
You can make it without a fancy-schmancy maker
though the Haus of Bumm has lots of fancy kitchen equipment, I might just have a rummage through the (chutney) cupboards and see if they have one.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 14:08, Reply)
damn right we are
delicious, delicious icecream
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:34, Reply)
Gay men
I often find that gay men seem to be a little obsessed with the mighty twins as much as your average heterosexual man. I'm yet to find a good enough explanation for this.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:43, Reply)
biology innit
you are right though. i am friends with and work with several gay men. they would all concur.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:45, Reply)
It's cos they're awesome.

(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:47, Reply)
That
Is probably the best answer I am going to get. It's not satisfying though. What would Freud have said on the matter?
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:58, Reply)
He would have said...
I like breasts
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:01, Reply)
From what I have been told
He was also a fan of small boys.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:13, Reply)
I am supposed to be going egg rolling in the park
but I only woke up 20 minutes ago and now I'm watching Sharpe and I'm not sure I can be bothered to move.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 11:52, Reply)
i would suck at that.
catch egg. retire from race to scarf egg down at warp speed.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:13, Reply)

Going to St James' Park for Pimms in the evening, though.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:08, Reply)
that thought should get you through the exam!
sounds awesome.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:11, Reply)
Today is more of the lovely same.
I will be mostly sewing, doing house admin stuff and drinking wine.

Tomorrow, I have a little day out in the London, so I'm having a quick look about on the internets to see what I can see to do other than the usual, see a gallery, eat a little lunch, drink a little wine, want to sleep, then go home, get a second wind, and drink more wine and coffee and talking rubbish on the internets until silly o'clock in the morning.

The best part about sewing while home alone, is that I can listen to as much strange folk music as I want with the triple patio doors all the way open. YaaY.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:13, Reply)
Packing
(/delurks as usual on the term when I actually have work to do)
Back to uni tomorrow, half my clothes still need washing, and I can't remember what I did and didn't leave back at uni...

Also making a very awesome duck soup though, so not all bad.
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 12:17, Reply)
I got woken up by VERY cute kittens
two of which jumped on my head at the same time. The other one was cuter and cuddled up to me

I am 80% sure my Guinea Pigs are now called Captain Higgs and Bosun Boson

Happy Easter, all
(, Mon 25 Apr 2011, 13:14, Reply)

Turns out 'higgins' is the 'god particle' that they made in the large hardon collider, a stemcel of partciles, they can use it to make anti-phsyics machines, stuff that can deffy gravity and all that.
