I'm recording Predators (starring Adrien Brody) if that helps
I'm watching Ghosts Of Mars which is, in my opinion, the most underrated of John Carpenter's films. I'm also drinking rum (this in no way affects my opinion of Ghosts Of Mars and anyone that says so is a steenkin liar)

I've had a bottle of wine and a can of beer
I could open an expensive bottle of whisky or start on the cooking brandy.
Or go to bed I suppose.

I'm totally going to hit farmers markets way more
now I'm cooking from scratch. And especially since I tried to find provolone cheese at a supermarket.

it is hard enough getting a decent wodge of chorizo at the supermarket,
then again i only go to the mid range supermarkets as i don't have a car, i guess the big ones have that shit, started going the mongers etc instead, you feel well cool doing that with a hangover i can tell you.

Not even the giant Tesco by the motorway had provolone
nor Waitrose nor M&S. I'm looking at speciality cheese shops now for fucking pizza topping.
EDIT: I got a cracking CHorizo from Waitrose though. I've been just slicing bits of for snacks this evening, it's delicious.

really, you can replace any meat in a meal with chorizo and cause absolute havoc,
it is a brilliant meat.

I'm just thinking I made a lamb stew in the slowcooker in midweek
lamb, a carrot, a parsnip, an onion, a leek, some rosemary and some stock; I reckon a big hunk of chorizo would have added some Catalan flair to it.

He got bored with brands
and went to Tesco. Then he tired of that. Now it's Kit-e-Kat pouches. Not as easy to find as Whiskas or Felix.
When I bought Aldi pouches he just stared at me. For ages.

Ellie would have phases where she'd go off things she'd eaten for years. I know when she had
horrible terminal mouth cancer an infected scratch on her tongue (thanks emergency vet) I got her food in gravy rather than jelly. She'd always refused it before but now she loved it because she could get some of it without too much mouth movement.

Save the whisky and hit the brandy..
Cooking will just have to take the hit here, a nice whisky deserves a night to itself.

I inherited my support for Man Utd but I grew up in the midlands. I like to see Leicester and Derby do well.
In other news I made a lovely chilli tonight and I have a bit left over. I'm thinking of sticking it on a piadina with some cheese on top tomorrow.
