people who can't drive or park properly
it's irrational because it hardly causes me a problem on almost all occasions, it's just that it's so fucking easy to do, so how do people manage to be bad at it? it's like being bad at breathing.

alt: I've got one on my overcoat and there's one I wear in my sock when I'm playing hockey. I dunno why, I just always have done at this time of year.

alt alt: In Fucking Bruges.

I thought In Bruges was considerably better than I was expecting.
cf that one with the chap in the Guy Fawkes mask.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:45, Reply)
V For Vendetta?
I enjoyed it, although I haven't read the book, something I may rectify as it's in the house somewhere.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:46, Reply)
That's the one.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:49, Reply)
Most fans of the book appear to maintain that the film version is "fucking shit".

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:50, Reply)
That's the case with pretty much everything, isn't it?
Except for Watchmen.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:52, Reply)
Watchmen was awful.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:53, Reply)
I disagree
I feel it went on a bit too long in bits, but I really enjoyed it. The fight scenes were exceptionally nasty.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:53, Reply)
this redeemes you slightly.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:54, Reply)
It missed alot of the politics from the novel.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:55, Reply)
This maybe true.
But I thought it was one of the most faithful recreations of a comic on screen I'd seen. and who cares about politics anyway?
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:57, Reply)
Not you?

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:00, Reply)
Me?
I hardly have an opinion on anything dear boy, you know that, well I suppose that there is one thing I feel strongly about.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:02, Reply)
Ken Livingstone.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:01, Reply)
Don't take the name of the lord in vain now Monty.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:02, Reply)
All communists together.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:04, Reply)
Not a clue what you mean there Stunners.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:05, Reply)
He certainly is a 'lord.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:11, Reply)
Adults who read comics are themselves 'fucking shit'
and thus have worthless opinions.

These same anuses think Simon Pegg's ghastly shit is good. They should be gassed like badgers or choked to death on their 'skatewear'.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:59, Reply)
Simon Pegg is OK when acting instuff he didn't write.
Mission Impossible, Star Trek etc.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:03, Reply)
I am unable to comment on this.
The chronic shitness of both Star Trek and Mission Impossible has prevented me from watching more than a nanosecond of either.

I can say with come certainly that 'Shaun of the fucking Dead' and 'Spaced' are as dismal as a night with Nakers and Quentin with no drugs and only £3 to spend.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:08, Reply)
Best of all the certainties

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:25, Reply)
It's my favourite black comedy
Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes are exceptional in it.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:51, Reply)
My favourite black comedy is either Trading Places
or one of those Bill Cosby 70s films.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:56, Reply)
I'M MAKING A 'BLACK' JOKE.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:57, Reply)

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:59, Reply)
Did you hear the one about Klu Klux Knieval?

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:00, Reply)
...go on

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:02, Reply)
He tried to jump 50 black people in a steam roller.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:03, Reply)
Hahaha

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:04, Reply)
Trading Places is the only decent film Jamie Lee Curtis' tits ever made.
Sadly, they retired from the business not long afterwards and now live in a rest home for movie star breasts.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:00, Reply)
Epic, epic knockers.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:06, Reply)
Certainly one of the finest pairs in Hollywood history
However, as much as I will sound like a broken record, it's all about Erika Eleniak for me.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:07, Reply)
What is it with you and 42 year-olds today

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:10, Reply)
She was only 23 at the time

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:13, Reply)
Making you about 1.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:14, Reply)
I was 4

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:16, Reply)
You're 23?
Oh, OK that makes it all perfectly acceptable.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:17, Reply)
Yes

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:18, Reply)
You disgust me.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:19, Reply)
Haha

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:20, Reply)
Do you put the sock down the front of your shorts?

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:45, Reply)
well, no....
and for the life of me, I can't see why it would help?
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:49, Reply)
It would keep your willy warm
as it gets cold in scotland.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:50, Reply)
I have underarmour for that.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:50, Reply)
Yeah, I hate it when you see someone pull into a nearly empty car park
and then miss a space completely and cover two of them, and then it's worse when they get out and look and then just walk off, despite knowing they are a useless cunt.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:46, Reply)
The fucking manager at our local Aldi does that, the stupid prick.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:48, Reply)
Have you seen the new Fords that parallel park for you?

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:54, Reply)
I've seen the advert.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:01, Reply)
Lazy bastards.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:06, Reply)
IN your sock?
isn't that kind of prickly?
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:48, Reply)
well, you know, stuck through the weave or whatever.
and, no, not really, I've got shinguards round the whole front of my legs. You should know, you demanded the pictures...
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:50, Reply)
god
every time i try to be subtle, you just light it up like a big neon pink flashing sign, don't you...
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:58, Reply)
I did the most beautiful piece of parallel parking today. Totally textbook.
I wish there'd been loads of people to see it. People only ever seem to be watching when I try to squeeze the noddy car into the tiny space left for the wheelie bin, necessitating three hours of minimalistic reversing.

Alt: No. I don't wear symbols that might cause problems in Norn Iron.

Alt alt: Shaolin Soccer.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:52, Reply)
Shaolin Soccer...that baby has melted your mind

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:56, Reply)
I won't hear a word against Stephen Chow. The man's a genius.
I watch his films and then go round the next day hoping that I can make similar gestures and stuff will just fly into place.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:58, Reply)
That film and Kung Fu Hustle are absolutely excellent.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 16:59, Reply)
One Armed Boxer II is better than both, good though they are.

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:00, Reply)
Shall give it a look in
Must admit, I'm surprised you liked either of those two though...
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:01, Reply)
I got Catface God of Cookery for his birthday.
It's nowhere near as slick as Kung Fu Hustle or Shaolin Soccer but the humour is still there and the baddie looks like Kaol.
(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:03, Reply)
I like Kung Fu panda

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:10, Reply)
i don't

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:11, Reply)
+ have any merit whatsoever

(, Tue 8 Nov 2011, 17:19, Reply)
