Morning all
After a crap sleep, I found myself absolutely shattered on my way to work this morning. As soon as I got here, I made myself a bacon bap, and now I feel absolutely fine. Bacon has made me feel better. You could even say it's 'cured' me.
What makes you feel better in the mornings?
Alt: How are we?

A wank in the bath followed by a full English breakfast.
Alt: Splendid thank you. Last night I had the best night's sleep I have had for quite some time.

I feel fucking brilliant today
Slept like a log, a great cup of coffee and some toast, lovely walk with the dog, an on time Metro to work accompanied by a good book and some excellent tunes. I shall now make another cup of coffee and await the inevitable kick in the nuts from work
Happy kids make me feel better. There is no more stressful start than having crying and/or naughty kids

So a meat injection sorted you out?
All good. Gym session, kicking crap out of a punchbag then lots of food and tea is my morning delight. I agree, bacon is the bollocks, although we're not allowed to cook "proper" food in work kitchen, just heat stuff up in the microwave. Even the sandwich toaster is there for show only.
I'm fine, off to a horror double bill tonight,
grimmfest.com/grimmupnorth/
this one in fact. I do like sick horror stuff.

Slightly 'Meh' this morning
Very warm night so I had the 'Mahoosive fan o' doom' running all night. I'll be having a smoked bacon omelette in about half an hour which, coupled with the massive intake of tea, should make me feel better!
In other news, G/F's dad survived the fitting of the oesophageal stent, now the radiotherapy starts!
Yay.

The stent is so the food he eats goes into his stomach & isn't vomited up
As to quality of life? It's pretty good so far.

So the comment was to elicit a knee-jerk angry response from me? I find that hard to believe, coming from you!
I'm shocked.

Tea
The right combination of caffeine and l-theanine, provided in a comfortingly warm liquid form is just the thing to ease me gently into the morning.
In the pre-children days a "wake and bake" used to be a good way to start the day, if there were no distractions like work to spoil the day.
Alt: Tired.

Bloody signal failures. It's far too hot to have to walk from Fenchurch Street to Waterloo today.
Now I'm going to feel grubby all day. And not in a good way.
bah.

No H&C trains from Aldgate East, walked to Aldgate and sat on a train that was "about to leave" for 10 minutes, switched to another one, original train left and then another 3 or 4 minutes for the one I was on to move. Bah.
