Morning Monty.
Good thanks, spent it in Leeds with the missus, went to wander round 'Tropical World' and the park by it, nice way to waste a few hours.
Alt: Probably shit, still trying to keep my drinking down, eating well, and exercising. Also, I'm doing fuck all pretty much all week.

My kid demanded (genuinely) I took her into town to show her Jimi Hendrix's old flat on Brook Street. That was good. Went to a cheese and wine thing on the South Bank and then up to Ruislip for dinner with one of Lusty's old pals. Spicy lamb heart kebabs and way too much booze. Yeserday was a writeoff.

Trying to swap it round so that when I'm in Leeds I actually have cash, and I'm a bit skinter when she comes to Macc.

Epilepsy kicked in big style.
This week will hopefully be quiet, but dominated by waiting to hear some important news.*

Let's just say the two-day marinating period that 'joke' has undergone since you last posted it has not, ah, how shall we put this....'improved its flavour'.

If it came out that it was a lolironic 'Banksy' they'd be heralding it as a masterpiece of social criticism ART.

House viewings on Saturday and have a potential place earmarked. OUt on Saturday night for Mexican food and beers, visit to the Sea Life centre to see the seals being fed

Not bad, took the kids swimming and played some football with my youngest (the first of the youngest three to show any interest in the game whatsoever).
My tickets arrived for the Sparks gig at the Barbican at the end of the month. Got train tickets there and back for £13 so now I just need to find a club to keep warm in till the 8am train home.
Alt: Don't know yet, probably dull and shit.
( , Mon 15 Oct 2012, 8:56, Reply)

There's something clever going on, for sure, but it's just not my kind of weird, I think.
PS 'alright' 'Bill'.
( , Mon 15 Oct 2012, 8:59, Reply)

Since then I know they've kept going but I haven't paid any great attention to them. I think I just fancied a day out in the capital. I'm going to check out the Bank of England museum and have a tour of the Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden. Being a lifelong skinflint I love all the free stuff you can do in London.
KOKO in Camden looks to be open till around 4am on a Friday night/Saturday morning so I might head there after the gig. Anyone know if it's any good?
( , Mon 15 Oct 2012, 9:25, Reply)

You know what? The weekend was alright.
Nothing spectacularly exciting went on, but then nothing really bad happened.
I ate some nice food, drank some nice beer and smoked some nice weed.
Other than that it was just the usual round of mundane domestic duties.
Alt: as for the week ahead - if I can maintain this level of mediocrity, I'll be doing ok.

I went to an arty poetry thing on Saturday, about the relationship between poetry and violence. A bit Bill Burroughs, where the stuff was cut up and randomly assembled, digitally. Cultured or what? Sunday was another arty thing, a guy from the Super Furry Animals and an artist doing things in a museum. Then the pub.
Who's playing Wednesday? And also, why the name change?
( , Mon 15 Oct 2012, 9:32, Reply)

This is where everyone scoffs and says I'm making them up but these are three fucking great performers and I am v excited.
I changed my name because it's Halloween. wwWWWoooOOOOooooOOOOOooo

The weather was lovely at the weekend, so mostly consisted of walks and pub lunches.
Now it's pissing down, and darker than one of Vag's "novels", so normal service has been resumed. I have to buy a fridge later on, rock and roll.

i always ignore the instruction to wear gloves when chopping chillies. this particular stir-fry got a whole bag of mixed chillies, including 2 habanero bastards. i must have rubbed my nose or mouth or something, because i quite literally felt as if i had bent down and put half my face into the gas burner. and it hurt like fire for about an hour. fucking retarded.
at least i didn't rub my cock, eh?

my nephew was asked to write about the most special person he knew. nearly all his class wrote about batman or spiderman or something. he wrote about his auntie swipe (he called me the cola kid "because she loves diet coke more than anything"). and NO, he did NOT think it meant special in the window-licking sense. it was a lovely day.
how was yours, did you have fun with the monty-clone??

I then got super-twisted on excellent wine, home made limoncello and Grolsch. Felt like DEATH all of yesterday, never even got dressed.

it is normally the first thing i do after braving dead carcass to cook an animal stir-fry. phew.

I might leave forever.
We had a fucking terrible Sunday at the Pub, absolute fucking chaos. Fucking student cunts.
This week should be ok I reckon, who knows, it's always hard to tell.

Much drinking, sport and good food.
This week will probably be OK. Probably. Bit heavy on work for my liking, as always.
( , Mon 15 Oct 2012, 10:07, Reply)

I may have to see if I can tame it a tad. Still tastes a bit 'raw' but I'm sure it'll mature in the bottle - if it doesn't etch through it.
Other than that, I had a bostin' dinner Saturday night, a fun time Sunday and a home-cooked Chinese meal on Sunday night.
The outlook for this week is mostly 'meh', with occasional outbreaks of 'whatever'.
