Please can you please ask your girlfriend please how she makes her coleslaw please, thanks.
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:48, Reply)
Oh yeah and the goat curry
I might it to the wife without telling her what it is
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:52, Reply)
Ooooo, slow cooked goat curry could be awesome
I'm gonna get some mutton and make a vindaloo.
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:54, Reply)
Use mutton = same difference, maybe even better actually
Ask you local Halal cunts.
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:54, Reply)
We don't have any darkies round here. All my butchers are white. Do you think they'll still be able to get mutton?

(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:58, Reply)
I expect so. Might cost more though,
Can't you pop down to somewhere ethno-friendly like Tottenham? Not too much of a trek from you is it?

I have to say my distance awareness is fucking appalling.
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:03, Reply)
It is quite a long way
Probably cost me as much in diesel as it would to get some Mutton locally. I wonder if there is anywhere in Enfield.
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:05, Reply)
I bet there is, ask Gonz

(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:16, Reply)
She just makes it up based on what we've got.
Jalapenos, white cabbage, mayo, carrot, red onion...

There's no magicv secret, but every time she's made it it's been lovely.
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:53, Reply)
Okay.
Does she grate the carrot or chop it finely?
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:54, Reply)
my mum used to make it with a tiny dash of mango chutney
poor mum, i can't bear anything sweet in my savoury food, i was very rude about it
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:58, Reply)
I can sort of see what she was trying to do.
Did you have anyone with normal tastes to verify if it was actually a good idea?
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:59, Reply)
yeah, everyone else liked it
it was from a recipe book, i forget which, but it would have been some health fangled thing
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:01, Reply)
First time it was chopped, now we have a new food processor it all gets shredded in there.
You just have to be wary of it being too soggy, bit of a pat down with a tea towel or kitchen paper is advisable.
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:01, Reply)
Cool. I'll try that.

(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:03, Reply)
Hi Al!
loads of chopped coriander and mint is the key. Also, carrot isn't necessary. Oh and drain it through a colander before serving if it gets a bit wet. ;)
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:07, Reply)
Oh brilliant. Thanks very much, I shall go and look for some herbs.

(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:10, Reply)
Oh yea soz, forgot the herbs.
What a dill!

DO YOU GET THIS JOKE THAT I HAVE JUST MADE??????

(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:21, Reply)

(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 14:23, Reply)
Using salad cream instead of mayo is also good
