I'm always a bit slow (!) with technology and that but am finally getting a slow cooker.
First thing to attempt is pulled pork. Im also considering doing Roast Beef in it on Christmas Day. Anyone tried this?

Share your slow cooking delights.

alt. Have you been shafted by the recent Energy price rise, or is it all a load of media bollocks? My DD is exactly the same. I also got out of the Virgin Media price rises by threatening to leave.
Share your recent wins against the big Corporations.

AltAlt. Tell us a joke.

I think it is in relation to how the meat falls apart.
This is why I'm dubious about doing a roast. I don't want shredded beef for a Christmas meal.

I've done pulled pork in the slow cooker before, it works well, although it can come out a bit too moist.
Unless you're going to eat it all at once, I'd suggest freezing it in individual portions. Then, defrost when necessary, fry it, mix in a little grated pepper jack cheese, and top with a fried egg. Excellent sandwich (and yes, very bad for you).

I've attempted jerk chicken 3 times, and every time it's not been quite right, so that's shit (I know why, now).

Alt: No.
