Received an email at work a while back
reminding us that when we raise a bug, the regression flag must be set to Yes or No, not "unknown".

I emailed back to ask how we would know which one to pick, and got the answer that if the bug is a regression, it should be set to Yes, otherwise No.

Thanks, I had made it that far myself. A further exchange was equally unhelpful, it's as if he can't explain regression without using the word regression.

Well I have an interesting slightly related tale about the Sex Pistols and a member of my very own family.
My Grandfather was an English professor - in the 70s it was his expert testimony that enabled the Sex Pistols to call their LP 'Never Mind The Bollocks' as he attested 'bollocks' was not technically an obscene word.

The band gave him a copy of the LP signed by them all, thanking him for his pivotal assistance.

My lovely old gran gave it to Oxfam in the 80s, unplayed.

Go to work, wife phones to ask where her keys are, turns out I have hers and my own keys
She refuses to take the sprog to school which is less than a 5 minute drive away without locking the house. I suggest she set the alarm and leave the front door unlocked as the chances of being burgled by a chancer going round a sleepy part of Cornwall trying door handles at 9am are pretty low. She refuses so I have to make the two hour round trip from work.

Its this new THING I invented! That Swipe totally doesn't want to become a thing but its too late! The SSc is the Swipe Scale and is a measure from 1 to 10 of how much of a fucking idiot the subject is.

In hindsight I would like to retract the 9 and lower it to a 6. Not reading something properly is nowhere near as bad as giving someone a fork to eat yogurt.
