Really I want to get home for a shower as it's been like sitting in an oven at work #claggy.

I went to the Star Inn the City the other week. Nice location, nice building, good food.
Most of the places on Fossgate are pretty decent, as is Delrio's and Melton's. Don't bother with Melton's Too, it's mediocre at best.

No. They were half decent in the early eighties and then came The Joshua Tree
Simple Minds likewise - both sold out at the same time.

I don't think so
Commercial positioning in order to maximise revenue isn't adverse - Battered will tell you this if he's not dead in a gutter.
Commercial positioning to exploit a market over and above ability and capability - does Simon Cowell post on here?

I went to the magic turkish place near me for dinner. It's my favorite burnt meat emporium.
For £15, I got
- Iskalanda (cop sis (small lamb cubes)), which comes with two types of onion (one with what I think is Sumac, and another in pommigranite), normal salad, two sides of bread on the side (I ask for lots of bread, didn't expect that much - it's freshly baked next door).
- about 6 rolled vine leafs - don't really love these, but needed to make up the minimum order
- Chips
Lush as fuck man, all of it.

whatever leaves they use grew in our back garden and we had a constant stream of kids climbing over the wall trying to pick them

An old ex-girlfriend used to live not 100 yards from there. The turkish shops used to sell us booze in black bin liners at 2am (back when that was naughty).

i'd never had a kebab when i moved there, and never did, because i hadn't then discovered the joys of houmous and falafel.
