I've got a Raspberry and Almond Madeira cake in the oven.
How are you all today, and what is in your oven?

Friday night - getting happy-slapped and somehow breaking the speed limit on the M40 by 100mph (allegedly, officer)
Saturday night - awesomeness. Had a fantastic meal cooked by himjim, and lots of drunkeness with TGB, LabMaj and Kaol. Started walking back in a Warwicky direction and then don't remember anything until I woke up on Sunday morning with my bathroom liberally coated in vom. Lovely.
Sunday - While nursing hangover, giving people off-road demos in a Range Rover on our 'extreme' off-road test track. Not so lovely. Impromptu and unexpected jaunt to Heathrow to rescue sister in need, meaning that I missed the Berkswell bash.
Today - a fairly normal day, although I'm now packing for tomorrow's adventure to Sweden.

I do have one memory of the walk back. I was near Tesco in Warwick and I remember falling over comedy-style. I didn't trip or anything - I just sort of keeled over sideways and slumped onto the pavement.

I had a fantastic evening. I'm a master of appearing to be relatively sober when I'm absolutely leathered - I had many years of practice with my parents.
Kaol can take the prize for being the first person to corrupt me with cigarettes, and I honestly can't remember the last time I went on a night out when there's so many gaps in my memory. Maybe himjim's special ingredient was Rohypnol? :)
EDIT: I think Lab was just upset at being the grandad in the group...

Coffee certainly isn't an everyday drink, but my stance is PROPER coffee. The regular stuff in this country (at least) is lame. I'd rather drink tea. But if I'm in France or the Netherlands? Coffee, coffee, coffee!

Not just India. Most of the best blends (Earl Grey, Assam and English Breakfast, my favourite) were developed by Brits.

is my beverage of choice.
I have succumbed to the the vicious caffeine circle and have a cup of Earl Grey every morning to wake me up. And recently I found Earl Grey rooibosch! Yum!
Tonight however... I have just thoroughly enjoyed a cup of proper cocoa. As I have been vegan for a few months I have been missing milk, soya milk just isn't the same :(
The other day I made two cups of coffee with soya milk which both curdled, and I cursed and shouted "oh, for a decent hot beverage!"
The next day I came home to find a food parcel on my doorstep with a litre, a whole litre! of semi skimmed! And a note from my neighbours explaining that they were away for a week and didn't want it to go to waste.
As it was a gift and would have simply been wasted if I didn't use it, I have been enjoying every single brew I have made without guilt.
The universe listens to our prayers!

I've never felt remotely broody until I met my last fella. It's some strange biological thing I have no control over. Obviously my body thinks our children would be genetically superior. But even while I was feeling broody I still had that squeamish feeling about it.

Although mostly because I would just feel wrong full stop.
I have a friend who makes her brother a cake for Christmas every year. She takes pride in her meticulously decorated themes. And every year they get more sick and twisted. Santa's Sleigh Tragedy was one of her early ones... white icing liberally splashed with red, broken bits of reindeer sticking out of snow drifts, Santa himself lying in a twisten heap in a pool of blood. I'm surprised she's not on b3ta actually.

Was looking at the website of the company I was going to start work with next week. When I had a look at the address, it told me the actual address was somewhere in Buckinghamshire, and not in London. I then realised I had typed in 'ww' instead of 'www', and then, I got the expected address in London. Odd that.

I would say mad-man.
Wonder at the impressively out of time drums. I forgot to use a metronome for the first guitar track.

Going by what I've heard before of you I'd've expected 'em up an octave!
Sounded as good as a song about retards can do.
The vocal timings are a nightmare, as the lines appeared as and when I could make 'em up.

But for some reason decided to ruin my throat by singing it really low. Stupid.
And yes, your lines did suggest a song that had just been made up rather quickly.
There was going to be some synth too, but I couldn't be bothered getting it out, and the timing would have been horrible to try and get right again.

Erm, goodnight. I'm so disgusted I'm off to bed.
In disgust.

As I said, it was an on-the-spot-one-take-wonder.
How about I envy your higher-singing abilities, if you envy my low-ones :p
I'm going to bed now.
I've been drinking heavily this weekend and today and got work tomorrow.
Night!
P.s. workin' with you has been a pleasure :p
