Good morning!
I'm trapped in this house with my poorly toe, so what does any self-respecting women do in this situation?
Internet shopping!

masturbate, but looks like you're entertaining yourself in ways that a woman only can :P

Looks like your suggestion might be advisable.

Went to the tip and am now going to try and tidy the house.
Want to move the shelves I have in the dining room to the lounge but they are really heavy and if they topple over I think they may squish me :(

I am very hungover...my brother has just dropped me off home.
I think I may go back to bed.
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 11:52, Reply)

oh, it's noon.
God I'm tired. Trouble with working in a pharmacy this week is that I have been exposed to a billion brazillion germs.
I think I am ill :(

I love it! I haven't found anything too hard, or too boring, and I haven't done anything daft.
Bout as good as it gets, really :)
The customers are funny too, mostly mad little old ladies. I am getting quite used to them describing their symptoms to me in graphic detail.
How's you, Badgerkins?
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 12:18, Reply)

I'm not too bad. Should really be doing something constructive but I don't appear to have any motivation :(
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 12:22, Reply)

I remember that...
I am in bed. I need to get up, dye my hair, have a shower, wash my clothes, eat food, sort out all my paperwork, do some fuzzy stuff...
*sighs*
Actually, I am going to make a cup of tea. That might get me started. Want one?
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 12:29, Reply)

I think I will piss about till 1 and then do stuff....

Hope you're all fine on this dull Sunday. A hungover Beekers mumbles hello.
Some people really can't handle a bottle of wine and 5 pints. Lightweight.

I did my internet shopping yesterday to buy myself a glass grinder and a glass saw for doing increasingly intricate glass work. I also spent a chunk of the day creating frames for canvas to be stretched over in unusual shapes- triangles, mostly- and went grocery shopping with my daughter, who then made samosas from scratch for dinner. Went to be early as I had been up since 5:00.
Really, do you lot get wasted that often?
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 13:39, Reply)

I'm not hungover! I'm recovering from a week of starting a new job, staying at my mum's, being without my car for four days and getting it fixed, selling my cooker, having dental work done, embarking on shenanigans with my ex, Appalachian Flatfooting, and my bro's band playing last night.
And fighting off the germs of a hundred snotty customers.
I'm allowed to be in bed!
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 13:48, Reply)

Well in that case, carry on. *grin*
I really don't remember the last time I had a real hangover. I've had a few mornings of waking up and feeling sluggish and a little off, but not really ill.
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 13:55, Reply)

I don't think I have been since Friday
I may go get some brackets and fix my desk as it is falling apart
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 14:01, Reply)

one of the reasons I don't drink much is it often makes me feel ill. Not the day after, but within half an hour of drinking.
And it doesn't take much to get me drunk! I'm a cheap night out. I think I might have that weird gene the Orientals have.
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 14:04, Reply)

that the weird gene is on the part of the Europeans- Native Americans can't process alcohol well either, and I would suspect that Africans and Australian aborigines have the same problem.
Occidentals have had fermented products as a part of our cultures for so long that we've adapted to it physically. Orientals and aborigines haven't.
On the other hand Native Americans can handle peyote pretty well- they don't trip their balls off the way we do.

My desk just fell apart luckily the only thing left on it were some indestructible speakers and I have found a new desk on freecycle! Woop woop woop

I'm typing from the floor it's not very comfortable...
I am going to have to go to the tip again now :(

One of the things about moving into a new flat is you end up buying many different types of biscuits. I now have 5 packets open and another 2 unopened packets. Anyone want some?
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 16:27, Reply)

trip to the tip and now I am happily typing on my new desk :D
I am a very happy badger. Even if I am alightly worried about this one bit.. I have no idea what it does.. I found somewhere it fit but it looks weird there so I didn't attach it :S
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 16:45, Reply)

I too got myself a new desk. Got it at Argos (as a flat-pack kit) on Thursday and dragged it to my office. Realised it was too heavy to cart back so left it at work and bought in my large (but not quite large enough) carrier bag on Friday. Stopped off at the pub on the way back and carried it to the bus-stop in a drunken haze. Only assembled it Yesterday.
EDIT: ETHELRED!!!!
* does running leap *
* hugs *

Got a morning flight tomorrow :(

Speaking of housework, I had a chat with my landlady yesterday and she was advertising a cleaning-service. I wonder if she's been sneaking into my flat.
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 17:16, Reply)

I think she was just keen to advertise.
Did some tidying up just before I assembled my new computer desk, and now I've put all the boxes away, it looks a lot nicer.
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 17:34, Reply)

the kitchen cupboard. There was a lot of crap in it. Should really tidy the dining room but I am flagging now
*flags*
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 17:46, Reply)

for there to be any surprise crap in my cupboards.
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 17:53, Reply)

Most of it was my old housemates crap. It all went in the bin.
I think most of the stuff in here is mine though...
I'm feeling quite down though so I think the sofa, a can of 'bow and some mindless TV is in order.
Catch y'all laters
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 17:55, Reply)

I knew about occidentals being genetically primed to handle their booze.. but not about the native Americans and peyote. This sort of thing interests me greatly. I'd love to be able to properly handle my mescaline..

I have newly dyed hair on my head. and it's got a lovely purple shine.

( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 20:16, Reply)

Nah.
I'm feeling a bit rubbish tonight though, so I think that I'm gonna have to go.
( , Sun 16 Nov 2008, 20:19, Reply)

RL things tend to get in the way of my internetz.
Yeah I went purple, pictures to follow, when I get my damn camera working again :(
It's not very purple, but it does have that shine, and I did my beard as well.

1) Essays are boring
2) I hate powerpoint more than I remember hating it before
Anyone not have a computer-hate filled day?

Where'd the weekend go? Oh yes... WoW. Bugger. Yes, it is *that* addictive, and I haven't had any sleep since 9am Saturday morning. Worse thing is, I only got up to level 12. Curses.
