I did a fifteen hour day in a cab, in a cab-free town yesterday. Ca-ching!

Hi No3l
A fifteen hour day?! I'd be totally braindead after that!
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 8:45, Reply)
Excellent No3L
I believe that is known as identifying a market, and exploiting same. I'd be a bit sore after sitting in a car for 15 hours though!

Morning, Lab.

Good Morning everyone!

I'm on the way to work running very late, somehow I managed to sleep through 3 seperate alarms all repeating every 5 minutes!

Other than that I'm good.

I managed to stretch my legs occasionally.
Good day tho. I forgot how much fun taxi driving is.

Good for Christmas pressies too :)

My SimCity game is going quite brilliantly, last night I watched four episodes of Doctor Who and had to upgrade my airport twice.

I also built an awesome highway network. I'm so cool.

Yes I did make chilli. I was a little dissapointed, I got distracted by B3ta (and Def Leppard) and it caught on the bottom of the pan, only for a second, but it just tainted the taste a little. It was nice and spicy though.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 9:29, Reply)

And I had a near miss on the way home last night. Stupid boy racers. So I was all worked up for ages and didn't sleep properly.

Hi Tightly
Just Amorous Badger and Rathen's posts from earlier this week (that's in terms of a QOTW week rather than a normal week).

I'm probably coming across as a whinging git on this, but as they say up here 'shy bairns get nowt'.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:23, Reply)
Ah, that.
No, I think you're entirely justified in invoking the mods. It might be the only way they learn.

I wonder what they're like in real life?
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:26, Reply)
@ DG
I hope they don't kick you off!

And of course the week starts on Thursday. When else would it start?
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:27, Reply)
Probably
very stupid people. Or very socially repressed people. Or possibly total fucknuts who regularly up people up the wrong way and get punch for it.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:28, Reply)
Well, following last week's efforts
I have it on good authority that baldmonkey is a nice bloke.

Not seen anything to confirm that mind!

And piston broke seemed to be inferring that Rathen and Amorous Badger are decent sorts... again, I refer you to my point above.

Very few people are out and out cunts in my experience. So why act like one on a public website?

@DG: It's not an unusual occurance, sadly
On another site I go to, there's a guy who I have met a few times, been on stage and in class with and he is as nice as pie.

on the site, he's a grade a twat. I've just had to agree with him that I won't engage him online, but I'm still happy to work with him or drink with him post class and the like.

I have no idea why people have to be like that, but they are.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:36, Reply)
Thanks al
it's nice to know that I haven't lost my touch.

*sniffs*

*EDIT* scarpe, I know what you mean. Anonymity of the keyboard seems to give people a license to be a twat, when they're not in real life.

I, on the other hand, try to be as nice as I can on line, when in fact, in real life I'm the biggest cunt you could ever meet.

:p

That's not a dead thread...it's just resting.

Don't you listen to him, Grandad. He's been misbehaving all day.

@Clen
And it took me three of those 6 to write my reply

But that's because I type with one finger.

I've not got anything else to take the piss out of you about, so think yourself lucky!
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:45, Reply)
You're not confused Captain
You're just a bit thick.

What!? Clendrix said I was naughty, so I thought I would prove her right.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:47, Reply)
Right then my fellow internet squirrels
I've achieved absolutely squat today, so as Billy Shakespeare probably once said, "I've had enough of this; verily, I'm fucking off home".

Kaol handed Scarpe a lethal weapon and Scarpe promptly used it on his palm. Much pain and hilarity followed.

You're not far wrong Al

I feel enlightened and on that note I'm buggering off home. Cheerio.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:51, Reply)
Actually
The pain was fairly insignificant with hindsight.

At least compared to the pain once I'd sobered up.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:53, Reply)
Really?
Because the hilarity was truly significant.

Sorry, Scarpe. Kaol was the one who made me laugh - blame him.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 16:55, Reply)
How about
the pain to your finger?

I've been morally reprimanded by Kaol.

*feels truly evil*
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 17:01, Reply)
Granted.
As long as she doesn't enjoy it too much.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 17:01, Reply)
Clendrix, you're not allowed to enjoy this.
But if you do, just keep quiet.

anyone doing anything interesting tonight?

I'm in tonight, but I'm off to see Supergrass tomorrow.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 17:11, Reply)
The students are having a party,
but my students are not pissheads with a propensity to glug wine from the bottle and act like twats, so that'll be boring.

So I might visit a fellow deviant lurking in the pub around the corner and annoy him instead.

All this instead of typing up the essay due in tomorrow.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 17:14, Reply)
Tonight...
I'm going to teach my new gay friend how to use photoshop.
And get drunk.

EDIT: Do your damn essay!
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 17:15, Reply)
Tonight
I am going to be very dull, as I have barely been home since Thursday and am going to run out of clean pants if I don't do some washing.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 17:16, Reply)
*cries*
Yes Kaol.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 17:16, Reply)
I have started
a new evening thread instead of starting my essay typing.

But I'm gonna do it now. So you go over there and play and I'll do my work.
