But it's tipping it down here!
Also, I've fed him, I've dragged Fishy on a String round the house, I've kissed his pinky nose. Yet STILL he stands in the hall meowing something that would sound to the neighbours like "Oh halp shez neglectin me. AND shez burnin me with cigaritz! Halp!"

(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:12, Reply)
You keep calling me GBH.
I've never done grievous bodily harm to anyone. Well not intentionally anyway : )

Just lonely and bored. Nothing to write home about.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:16, Reply)

Muffin with that coffee?
it's as sunny as chuff here, but raining on merseyside. how's it with you?
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:23, Reply)
Dull and rainy.
I've got loads to do around the house but can't be bothered.

I might go back to bed.

You off to work today?
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:27, Reply)

(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:30, Reply)
Monkey-chops is a lovely name for a child.
Might have some trouble at school though : )

Right I'm off to get dressed and have my muesli. The world always seems a better place after muesli.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:40, Reply)
muesli and yoghurt?

FTW
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:43, Reply)

well my cat singed his tail on the glass of the heater before, the dumb thing.
and now he smells like burnt cat hair.

But I'm all good. :)
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:45, Reply)
i'm guessing that's a bit like burnt human hair?
stinky to the max.

i'm contemplating an omlette..
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:48, Reply)
very stinky.
but then he smells in general so it's not really hugely different!

omlettes are lovely! have one!
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:50, Reply)
i reckon i might go for rocket and parmesan...
in a while...when i can muster the strength...
maybe i'll just eat the ingredients raw instead?
or make a smoothy of it?
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:53, Reply)
I'd put the effort in and make an omlette...
A rocket, Parmesan and raw egg smoothie sounds a bit wrong. A rocket and parmesan omlette on the other hand sounds fantastic!
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 8:56, Reply)
so the question now is...
2 eggs or 3?
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:05, Reply)
3
It's luckier that way. Also, if you're babysitting you might have to share.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:06, Reply)
yuck.
just yuck.
egg smoothie?
/shudder

I don't know why I'm awake so early. Well, I do, For some reason I agreed to work today. I also agreed to a 14 hour shift monday. But still, I'm not fond of the idea! I plan to make tea and a couple of playlists before I have to head out. What's everyone else doing with their sunday?

Fuck me that's impressive multitasking... Though I'd consider leaving the coffee out of it. That's just asking for nasty burns.

squiggly diddly. oh get the fuck in ive just found an unopened packet of maryland double choc cookies i must be the luckiest girl alive or something
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:08, Reply)
Eat them. Eat them now.
If anyone asks where their cookies went tell them you know nothing. People might beleive that someone would eat a few of their cookies and get pissed off with em. No-one would beleive someone would eat an entire pack of their cookies and then lie about it :D
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:12, Reply)
sadly, my family would believe me of that,
because it's exactly something I'd do. :p
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:15, Reply)
Ahhh

Yeah, but it's the other 1/10th that fucks you
They'd probably get your DNA off the crumbs and analyse the cookie packet for fibres or something.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:28, Reply)
fuck that im laminating myself as we speak

(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:33, Reply)
But if you laminate yourself....
How will you open and eat the delicious chocolate cookies? (or breathe?)

those are insider secrets that cannot be shared on a forum such as this im afraid

(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:45, Reply)
Oh, I know what you've done!
You've laminated the cookies in with yourself haven't you?

Are we talking just general maintainence for the motorbike, or are you like, restoring one or something?
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:06, Reply)
well...my hornet 600 has been off the road for nearly 5 years cos of points i got...
but some of them are gone now!
so basically it was in need of a full service and an MOT, both of which it got this week. i've also fitted a Givi rack and top-box. my next task is to remove, repair and refit the rear hugger. any clues on repairing carbon-fibre?
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:23, Reply)
Ahh. So mostly just making sure everything runs right?
Um. Repairing carbon fibre? Ductape :D Ductape fixes all.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:27, Reply)
yeah, pretty much just fettling bits and bobs now...
trying to undo 5 years of neglect...
reconnecting with a trusted and faithfull friend who has lain uncovered and unloved in my subterrainean lock-up through a breakdown, divorce, therapy, new love, marriage, childbirth and all that jazz...

Someone tell me to go away
I have loooads to do today. Need to mow my lawn which is like a jungle, before it starts raining again ideally, take my guns round to my ex's, do my recycling, take two bin bags of clothes to the clothes bank, and tidy the place up for the landlord coming round tomorrow.
But I suspect what I will do is play on Warcraft all morning until I'm too faint from hunger to do anything else.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:41, Reply)
Morning Fuzzy
Perhaps instead of playing an epic game like WOW, you could play a simpler game where you can just dip in and out more easily.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:52, Reply)
Agreed
Or at least a game that can be easily saved.. I'm guessing that WOW would be a pain to save and leave what with it being on the internet.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:56, Reply)
That's why I like those games with a retro feel
Because the gameplay does not have so much depth, you can dip in and out whenever you chose.

I've never played WOW, but I have played Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, and managed to get completely absorbed by it. It's not just the gameplay, but also the storytelling aspect.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 10:00, Reply)
It's easy enough
to dip in and out of, as long as you leave it somewhere safe and not full of baddies. Trouble is if I start playing hours will go past without me noticing.

But I have at least solved the breakfast problem. I have whipped up a quick mushroom, courgette, spinach and white wine stroganoff on toast, with a nice big mug of tea. Set me up for the day.

Morning
Yesterday I went to a friend's wedding. This involved me dressing up smartly for the first time in ages. I even got to be an usher. I of course helped out with finding juicy items for the Best Man's speech. Was a good day and night and got to see many old friends from school. Was given a lift back by the friend who was staying at my place, and have just seen him off (he's got to drive all the way back to Devon).
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 9:51, Reply)

Morning Chaps and Chapesses
Another piss wet day greeted me along with a frantic cat who was rather insistent about getting fed before my tea and fag.

Everyone seems very active and full o' beans

Ello you lot. Save me some toast. I have to get ready and go meet my friend. I'll miss you all because I'm a sad git. Oh gawd the local cathedral has it's mental mourning bells on. It's so hysterical and loud. But if it's for that very old war dude then I don't mind.

Morning Mel (and any other newcomers)
I'll be solving my breakfast problem by meeting up with a friend in St Pancras for breakfast and see him off on his way back to France.

I've just been playing some COD4 online.
I always get about 5 kills to 50 deaths.

I'm so rubbish.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 15:03, Reply)
That is pretty rubbish.
I'm not happy unless I've got at least two kills to one death.

I'm broken today, I didn't get home 'til 5 this morning, was drinking and watching Bruce Campbell films last night. Good fun, but I didn't enjoy going shopping earlier.
(, Sun 19 Jul 2009, 15:14, Reply)
I've just come back from ASDA.
I'm pretty sure, legaly, under the EU, if I blow that place up, i'll be given some sort of medal.
