at work Xmas do last night
and had clotted cream with one of the dessert options. A colleague revealed to me that he knows people who had never even heard of the stuff.

I was interested to see what people knew about it on here

I just assumed it was one of those things that people knew about... don't they have grandmothers... mine used to put clotted cream on EVERYTHING!

Well I think currents/raisins/sultanas improve most desserts
Carrot cake needs them! I recon they'd even be good in a chocolate cake. And to not put them in scones is just wrong!

I know what it is, in the respect that I can identify (and love) it, but I can't tell you how to make it out of normal cream.
