So I'm going to suggest A GAME!
The pitch is here
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1259646/Gay-couple-turned-away-guest-house-owner-let-share-bed.html#comments
The goal is for each of us to submit a comment, not tell anyone what it is then at 4pm see which has been recommended the most.
Tactics:
Be as much of a cunt as possible, you're talking to mail readers.

so it might now make it if it's truly awful
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 14:27, Reply)
It's also why I generally have to avoid the Daily Mail website. It just makes me angry.
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 14:40, Reply)
I should have checked to see the latest comment before starting this game.
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 14:45, Reply)
I'm going to try to do it again this week.
Keep your eyes peeled people.

You need to get a thread that's still getting posts added to it though. Get in there quick.
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 14:57, Reply)
Or just whichever will we think will get most?

it's not added either of mine, refreshing the page still shows Colin from Bedford as the most recent comment.

They are 'experiencing problems'. And I had a finely crafted work of art, too.

But mentioned that they should 'stick to bumming in their own homes'. I'm dubious as to how well it would have gone down. Also, I don't want to register with the Daily Fail.
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 14:49, Reply)
I just reloaded it a few times and it worked.
Although I may just have commented 8 times.

not to mention kiddie diddlers
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 14:51, Reply)
I wonder if they mods will spot they're being trolled. Although having said that, our trolling is probably no different from the genuine comments.
I can't decide if I would love or loathe to be a mod over there.

I've always thought Psychochomp was a total dick, but didn't want to say anything in case he saw and it hurt his feelings and he had a tantrum and caused a big to do. Now I can speak freely as he won't see my crushing words.
Unless he is just making me think I'm on ignore so he can find out what I truly think....sly

check it every few hours, and reply near to you saying something similar until someone says "Kitty O'Hara just said that" and I'll go, "Oh, who? I must have her on ignore"

Your "fair" game is open to anyone which means I could be sharing a thread with people who actually believe immigrants who are suffering in their home countries should be allowed to come over here and take all our jobs.
You also make no mention of the fact women and blacks obviously have inferior veiws and as such should be filtered out so the true British people have no risk of stumbling across a recipe for flan or, even worse, some waffling about how regardless of the colour of peoples skin we are all "equal"
Also picking fun at Daily Mail readers is a cheap shot and you deserved to be locked in a cell with Jon Venables for ever and ever.

(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 15:36, Reply)
In fact I've even written it. I'm just hovering over 'Submit' and wondering whether I'm in danger of getting on too high a horse about the whole thing....
Should I send it?
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 15:54, Reply)
It hasn't appeared though.
In response to this one: "Romanians are the worst of them all and I am not a racist. This country is going down hill fast and the government and EU dont seem to care. These people are not welcome but yet they end up with more rights than the Brits. That cannot be right or fair. They should be all sent back to where they came from. Once a foreigner breaks the law they should be sent home immediately - not question" etc etc, written by the eloquent and literate "susan berry, Tramore Ireland, 22/3/2010 14:42"
Basically "I'm not a racist but I HATE FORRINS". What a pillock.
(, Mon 22 Mar 2010, 16:02, Reply)
I'm just worried that I'm being too haughty:
"Yes, of course, they should be deported, just like all those other "forrin types," in just the same way that any British person who transgresses the law when they go abroad is hauled onto the first 'plane back to Heathrow in shackles...
Do you not think your lives would be so much richer if you found pursuits other than looking for something on here to trigger a good whinge about another exaggerated 'problem' which is invariably 'another damning indictment of the state of this country and all that Gordon Brown's fault'?"
Still tempted to post it though...

I just thought a sarcy remark like that might raise their blood pressure to the same extent they raise mine. But then I realise it's not worth getting agitated about. Hell, I'll be impressed if it even makes it past the mods.
Only drawback is it now means I'm registered with MailOnline. I feel slightly dirty now...
