Disappearing B3tans
A thread in tribute to those who have left us. Share your memories of their skills or shitness, it's up to you.

frankspencer- an early B3ta hero of mine.

gilgamesh and gmos have left a mancunian b3tan shaped hole in my heart

frankspencer was a great
I'm sure there are others but fucked if I know who
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 19:06, Reply)
It allways impressed me how readily he could add filth to any QTOW
perhaps his novel is of the top shelf variety?
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:30, Reply)
really?
I don't remember why, but I found him annoying
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:38, Reply)

Too many.
I did enjoy the frank though. Apparently he's had a novel published but fuck knows what his real name is.

Do tell so I can read the reviews!

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:25, Reply)
Well it's one of several names I have on my email contacts that I can't remember who they are.

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:30, Reply)
check them all in amazon
and see who has a book
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:37, Reply)
Luckly I still speak to the ones who I want to, in the most part.
I'm totally copy'n'pasting this from /talk 'cus someone from here might apprecahte it.

I'm such a chefoligist, I just threw out dinner and started again 'cus I fucked up, but they didn't have any pre-cut stir-fry stuff; so I got verious veg and thought while I was at it I added some chilli and cut the corriander up more thin and add some battons of ginger.

Totally just NTTing you, with food neather-the-less, but well proud.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 19:56, Reply)
Oh god, PERFECTED, so nice, the lime and ginger and corriander and chilli work so well.

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:06, Reply)
on what

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:09, Reply)
Thai coconut soup, own recipy.
It's so nice, www.b3ta.com/questions/offtopic/post803438

Gonna blog it up tomorow.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:11, Reply)
while I tell you, it does look lush, it doesn't look like soup
but, I trust if you love it, it must be good
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:15, Reply)
This time I added two nests of noodles which made it about 25% soup, 75% noodle dish, rather than about 50/50 which was last time, and about 10/90 on Round Two that I did before current.
I didn't double up on anything else, but my thinking was "That'll be a nice lunch for tomorow", and it still works well, but i'm not sure it still constitutes as a soup.

I'd encouridge anyone to make it though, as it's soo nice.

I miss Kaol and his knives.
Tulip and her cake.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:17, Reply)
Kaol was one of the first b3tans i remember being nice to me on /ot
by that he insinuated i was sleeping with edmund and sent me pictures of dumplings with faces on.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:48, Reply)
I only knew him as the guy who allways seemed to get a FP

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 20:53, Reply)

I think I deleted gmos from fb by mistake in one of my culls and can't remember his name to get him back again :(

He was on QOTW a few weeks back. Him and frankspencer first got me into B3ta.

Whatever happened to spankyhanky though?

I think it's a terrible shame
that Wet Ham Man got murdered.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 23:35, Reply)
Not seen workboresme in a while.
Some of her QOTW stories are good but her "woe is me" posts are weird. I don't know whether to laugh at her or empathize?

Not seen Legless post in some time, either
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 5:47, Reply)
I was under the impression that wbm flounced and deleted her account.
Legless posted here last week.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 7:38, Reply)
I've been lurking on and off for a few years but don't follow everything
On QOTW, I like her stuff, SpankyHanky, Legless, SmashMonkey, Sandiettelightvessel(?), Amorous Badger, Agnostic Antichrist and Chickenlady's stories and a whole bunch of others, but they're the ones that immediately spring to mind
On here, I find the topics funny for the most part and educating (to me) - I don't know much about Great Britain so I like to learn
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 7:44, Reply)
Our women are all wonderfully attractive and we've got great teeth.

(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 8:08, Reply)
oh god you don't want to be learning about things from us!

(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:04, Reply)
Woo!
Aye, WBM left, she was known as BatShitMentalist for a while though.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:04, Reply)
I like his posts
Not sure what happened to Spanky Hanky though?
