I've just reserved a DVD player to collect at lunch
as my old one has died and it has a USB connection. Am I going to be insanely disappointed it won't actually play any of the 500gb of TV I have on my harddrive?

For about £15 you can get a USB Hard Drive To HDMI player, won't play dvds though.
I was playing around with my cousin's blackberry over the weekend, I honestly can't see why anyone ever would want to buy one, unless it's to be Scene or Cheap.

I tend not to be disappointed about technology
as in general I'm a late adopter, so the technology has matured by the time I buy it.

Mind you, most Freeview television broadcasts are pretty shit quality (except for BBC1, 2 and Ch 4, which are OK) but that's not the fault of the technology, it's just 'them' trying to squeeze money out of the system.

but it stopped being a proper car show years ago and the worst thing is they are recycling all the jokes. Setting things on fire camping - done twice now. Car falling off cliff/down big hill - twice. I just find the show boring
and I'm not a huge fan of comedy songs. I like Business Time because it's clever, but I hate the french one where they just sing 'four le foofoo', etc. I also hate that Jermaine guy, he's painfully ugly to look at and he annoyed me in Shark vs Eagle even though I know he was supposed to.

The only comedy song guy I love is Stephen Lynch and that's partly because he's really fucking fit.
