Hang on
Didn't someone start a new thread a minute ago?

I'm sure I saw one but it has since been deleted.

Oh well, seeing as I'm here now. What are you doing this evening?

getting frustrated!
trying to do stupid estimates and asking my boss how can I tell the difference between two different transmissions and he says "I dunno"
FUCKING REALLY?!
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 19:57, Reply)
Surely one would be manual/stick
And the other automatic/gay?
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 20:03, Reply)
*head in hands*
Really Jeff? I'm a girl, and I know there are more than just those two types of transmissions.

I'm trying to figure out if the Cadillac I'm looking at is a 4T60-E or 4T80-E. They're both 4 speed transmissions and I tell him this and all he says is "I know how to look and see if it's got the O for overdrive".
The point I'm getting at is he is my BOSS. He's been doing this for 20 years. Why doesn't he knoooooooow.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 20:07, Reply)
Because American cars are shit
And your BOSS is past caring about them?
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 20:11, Reply)
say what you will but they've kept me in a job for the past three years

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 20:12, Reply)
That'll be because they keep breaking though, yes?

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 20:14, Reply)
Not necessarily. Are you trying to tell me there are no auto shops in UK?

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 20:17, Reply)
No.
We still have horse drawn carriages.

That truck didn't impress me.

It wasn't meant to. You asked, I told.
I can't very well tell you what my favorite car is if I haven't been in it. That would just be lying.

Well with that logic how will you ever meet Mr Right
Unless you hope to meet EVERYONE on the planet?

*completely baffled by lack of sense in above post*
look, you asked me what my favorite car is and I told you

I'm not fancy, I'll never be in an aston martin, nor would I give two shits about trying to be in one.
I'm a redneck. I like trucks and cars that make loud noises and go super fast.
That's my dads truck, he's teaching me how to drive it so I can race it.
It's my favorite vehicle.
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 21:11, Reply)
Your post made little sense in the first place though!
What sort of racing will you do?
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 21:19, Reply)
How can something be your favorite if you've never experienced it???
I could say "oh yeah, fucking toyota supra is my favorite car eva innit, if I had like a hundred thousand dollahs I'd totally buy one and shit"
that's stupid

Well
generally I find planning to have sex with someone a more effective method than just going out wearing lucky pants / hat / whatever and hoping. It's not like I'm stalking the poor woman ! She's a good friend of mine, we have "previous" and it would all be consensual !

To be fair
It's just the last few months, I've spent 20 years eating out of plastic trays.

It's because we're all too sad and lonely to have someone cook for us.

Aww, poor Noel
you ate some of my cake, therefore by proxy I have cooked for you, if that makes you feel any better?
(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 21:02, Reply)
I've had two of your cakes, therefore I'm twice as awesome as I've ever been.
I was joshing anyway, I fucking adore cooking, been doing it for 17 years. Even if I met a fantastic and willing cook I'd find it hard not to spend time in the kitchen.

I teased hot bloke for getting a frying pan for his birthday
he said I was a cheeky minx and has offered to cook me dinner. *wiggles gleefully*

"fluffy mound of delicious"

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 21:01, Reply)
I'm sure they still taste fantastic

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 21:10, Reply)
with a bit of butter and seasoned to taste

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 21:11, Reply)
Shame no-one is interested in parsnips anymore.

(, Thu 11 Nov 2010, 21:26, Reply)
best of all the root vegetables!
I love roast parsnips especially, but I like mashing them with potato to sweeten it up a little.
