It's official
The widely hyped new U2 single is shit.
I put this down to U2 being shit.

u2 think its bad?
and I have not even heard it
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:18, archived)
I liked that War album they did in er... 1983?
I don't think there are any bands that continue to make brilliant albums over 30 years
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:19, archived)
There are quite a few artists who manage it
Perhaps the problem is that it's easier to end up in a rut as a band, you keep reinforcing each other's habits.

AC/DC

(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:27, archived)
They've hit the winning formula
they just make the same album every 2 years.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:58, archived)
If it's not broke, why fix it.
The latest album is a triumph. I was dancing round the kitchen singing along as though I'd had it for years. Which in a way, I had.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 9:00, archived)
I like them a lot
they do their thing very well.
I especially like Back in Black.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 9:01, archived)
they're nothing without Bon Scott.

(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 10:17, archived)
Dylan
although he isn't a band so I think your point still stands.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:53, archived)
except the Cure

admittedly patchy over the years, but the last two albums are great
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 10:08, archived)
I think U2 is great.

(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:19, archived)
But we've already established this morning* that your views mean nothing

*and many other times before

UP YOUR BUM

Hello hello
I'm at a place called Birmingham
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:20, archived)
Where do we send the condolence cards?

(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:27, archived)
Hmmm... Bradford? Newton Abbott?
Barrow-in-Furness? No, wait, it must be simpler than that...
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:30, archived)
Good god, dont say Bradford three times in the mirror...
Bogus will turn up
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:31, archived)

I am not a fan of U2
There you go, note that down in the official calendar.

Fearne Cotton
is plainly employed simply because her uncle is a BBC legend.
And because she's quite fit. I just wish she'd have the sense to not say anything, ever.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 9:00, archived)
It's alright.
Not their best but not unlistenableble.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:27, archived)
well, they're a band and it's a tune I guess

I want credit if anyone uses this opinion in any future reviews
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:32, archived)
It's not as bad as I expected

(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:44, archived)
I have a bit of a thing for Bono.
Though he'd have to keep his shades on to hide those hideous piggy eyes. My bottom lip hurts today and I don't know why. Hello.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:46, archived)
If it's lip cancer I have just the thing for you.
*falls off stool laughing*
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:50, archived)
How would your fat, bloated neck cure lip cancer?

(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:54, archived)
Magic Salt.

When I was a kid my mum used to ask my brother (who is rather pesimistic and stroppy) if his buttom lip hurt from dragging it along the ground all day

(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:50, archived)
I am pessimistic and stroppy
I'm not your brother though. I think it could be something to do with the bit of metal rammed through it. Though I've had this piercing almost ten years and I've not really had much trouble before. Oh well, i'm sure it'll go away.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:53, archived)
It would be very odd if you were my brother, on so many levels
Ah, that would make sense, is it possible to eat something that will make it hurt? I only have my ears pierced but I find going out in the cold makes them hurt like mad.
(, Mon 19 Jan 2009, 8:55, archived)
Well i woke up with it.
I haven't eaten yet. I might've just slept too heavy on it or something. I took it out and cleaned the jewellery and the piercing this morning so hopefully i should be a okay.
