i've had it for 8 years

How viable would it be to get one second hand?
Do you know someone with a big car/van (not sure if you just need fridge or fridge/freezer)? If so then I'd definitely agree with Facebook marketplace. I've found all sorts of bargains on there, especially as a fridge is a pretty simple thing that either works or doesn't.

Again, completely agree with ao.com - reasonable prices and pretty decent service. Definitely waaaay better than Curry's who are bunch of shitweasels.

Internal fuse of the transformer gone maybe. They don't normally just die, and if burnt out they blow a fuse. All depends if you can be bothered to do the checks and fix
