oooh - controversial
you could also have red as "Former Working Class ex Mining Communities completely prejudiced against a Tory Government for the actions of a former leader and the Conservatives will never gain votes here until those who remember Thatcher have died"

True
I think mine was the Daily mail result map thingy.
Although... one questions always sticks in my mind.
One thing I blame Labour for is;
During 13 years of Labour, we have ended up with the Chav class.
I'm sure prior to 1997 the scum classes were far less prevelant.

It took longer than 13 years for that to happen
If you think about the timescales required, it's clearly the previous governement who got that ball rolling.

err what the fuck
Thatcher created the "chav class" when she said "we're all middle class now" on the premise that if you eliminate all the working class trades, everyone will suddenly want to work in finance. The reason they're more "prominent" now is that they've left school. I went to school with them, and I can tell you for a fact that they have existed since 1982 at the latest.

History/logic FAIL
Er, IQ is an average, so many are scoring pretty low.
I think you'll find even in Victorian England (where many tories still live) there was an ignorant underclass.

What I like
Is how people seem to think Labour has magical powers to enact sweeping economical/social changes by snapping their fingers.

Porbably true. :p
Just had a look at local results, 2,632 BNP votes here in Salford & Eccles. 6.3% of the vote. Absolutely appalling. :(
[Edit] Jeez Louise. In Makerfield (home when I'm not at uni) they got a whopping 3229 votes! 7.4%! I want to cry. :(
