Game over man, game over!!!!!

"For file size, 50k has always been a good target for a still image, but anything up to 100KB is acceptable. Likewise, animated gifs should be kept as small as possible, but NEVER exceed 400 KB. Please do your best to optimise your work where appropriate. A good joke won't be spoiled by a slightly lower quality image".*
*Although none of this obviously applies to the front paged images or "popular" b3tards.
Seriously though mods, some of us crush our images and animations down to fit these guidelines, if the FAQ is irrelevant please burn it so us community minded folk can have nice animations too, cheers.

I have made so many ground-breaking animations and I never post any because I can't get them under 400k. Honestly :P

you clearly haven't spent much time reading b3ta comments to other peoples threads
also, you could listen to what people say and make the animation smaller/in keeping with the FAQ like the rest of us politely do.
That tends to shut people up/make them love you more. Just saying like :)

there's is a rota running these days. It's your turn to get mercilessly picked on for fuck all reason. Usually encouraged by the B3ta head boy.

Then it was Moggy (temporarily), then loads of mini flounces from lesser-known /board dwellers.
I don't think we'll see a flounce like LS18's for ages. It was glorious.

How does between 14:00 and 16:15 sound?

It will be much appreciated. I'll feel like I really belong

i ended up to do a 'print screen' into Paint off my laptop, because the source pic came from an 8meg cameraphone & i hadn't noticed the file size was huge!!
i'm a bit low tech & do everything with PSElements, MS Gif animator & my laptop's touch pad. i'm in the market for a graphics tablet but don't know where to start...
