# I HATE THESE BISCUITS!!!!!!!!!
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 21:57, archived)
# Speaking of horrible..
I was looking at creating a limited company and found a place that does that sort of thing....
But before signing up I googled them for a review..
First review was under the reassuring heading "Group of money grabbing cunts!"
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 21:59, archived)
# these guys are good
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:02, archived)
# I was looking at them....
I want to change from a sole trader to a limited company... As at the moment I'm being taxed on every thing I'm pulling in and pissing cash away on toys as "business expenses" Thanks Dekoin.... You're not on commission are you?
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:04, archived)
# I'm not on commission, but I've only ever created one ltd and I used them.
They're very good, I would contact them with any questions you may have, I can't advise on sole trader issues.

ed: also sign up here, you'll get lots of free advise

# Well, as far as i'm aware...
As a soul trader ALL income is classed as taxable...
as a limited company, I can take a wage and let the surplus build up in the business account and give myself "A bonus" when I need any extra income...
Also class the car, mobile, internet and such as "business assets"..
I wish my brother hadn't divorced his 2nd wife, She was a bloody good accountant and helped me out in my early business days, She told me to do it years ago but I was living hand to mouth for about 5 years and it didn't make sense, Now the tax man is dry bumming me on an annual basis.
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:17, archived)
# in my ltd experience (chortle) I would say being a ltd is better than a sole trader
either way, yes, getting a reliable accountant is advisable
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:22, archived)
# Step 46!
I do need one, I did get a few questions as to why a sole trader needed 3 iPads in one year!
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:25, archived)
# use the forum linked above, ask as many questions as you like
the biggest mistake most new businesses make is thinking they can do it on their own, unless you know accountancy and current tax legislation, I wouldn't try it

ed: also most accountancy firms will offer a free initial consultation
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:28, archived)
# I had a lot of help for the first few years,
Then started doing my own books.
But now I am just getting taxed to death, Ltd is the only way to go I think.
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:31, archived)
# Use the forum above, it will serve you well, lots of regulars on there and accountants offering advise.

# Thanks muchly....
Nosing now.
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:34, archived)
# as Mu said, why DID you need 3 ipads in one year?
are you some kind of spastic?

why did I waste so much time on such a fucktard

?
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:36, archived)
# One was for me...
One for my mams birthday, and one for my daughters birthday....
But I put them as a "business expense" to get the VAT back and a bit of a tax break....
When they asked why I needed THREE I told them I use them for DSP effects processors as they can run into the thousands for just one.
All stuff that can be done in software but the software costs just as much as one ipad!
Plus it gives me something decent to look at the interwebs whilst on the loo.
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:43, archived)
# oh fuck off

# Bit harsh...
As I said, I need to go limited as every penny is taxable that comes in...
Way to avoid that is to spend money on "equipment".
Bit of a tax dodge, But i'm earning too much to get away with that every month.
(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 22:47, archived)
# I went for option 2.

# nothing personal

(, Tue 21 Feb 2012, 23:25, archived)
# It's ok...
I havent taken your garden enclosure structure.

I admit, It's a shitty/twatty thing to do, Two where not for me or my business, But anything like that I can throw through as an expense, I do.
That is why I want to become limited as I'm flying too close to the sun with it now.

But thank you for the links, I am avidly reading the Business forum now....
It's a very good source.

certainly not heavy hob nob dunkage

i'm a serious dunker, anything as lightweight as a nice or rich tea isn't going to survive long enough to be practical.

one has to learn the art of dunkage to get an acceptable level of firmness versus tea-saturated softness.

and ram the whole thing in my gob

and thus mcvities don't need to pay VAT on them.

leave a biscuit out it goes soft, leave a cake out it goes hard.

do this experiment and and then correct your image.
