# I've been trying to get Mort to walk more convincingly

/edit: Try no. 2 on the right... looks a bit less like tip toeing, and it's faster which eliminates some of the ED-209-ness.

# It's a magical thing called A SHOP.
Usually found on a High Street, you can just walk in, hand over your card/cash and say 'I want this please!'
They might even give you a really nice bag to take it home in like they did for me. (I suppose you want to know if you're in it and where? :) )

# Someone should put
a list of who got in and who didn't on here somewhere.

Edit: The book says it should all be on the site, but it's not. Yet.

# If you can be arsed.
None of mine will be in there, but I'm sure some people would like to know they're in and may even buy a copy because of it.

Both amazon and play.com are 'awaiting new stock'. I didn't realise it was available in regular shops.

I don't actually know what a real ostrich looks like when walking but you've definitely convinced me.

Edit: I think 2 is a bit better, the extra wing action helps. But number 1 should be catching up! It's doing my eyes in!

Given that they are extrememly crudely drawn wings, it's difficult to say. I think they're right.

This is a "motion study" for it.

Mort is also helping the "motion study" by inspecting some faeces.

# I think it's the foward-backwards head movment, through the neck, that give the natural feel
but that would mean that you have to felx the neck, compromising the character design. Since it's completely unrealistic anyway, why not make Mort walk like a human?
