# hullo all final photoshop q
Tried on talk but this may be the place photoshoppers are found in abundance...

If I've got a face that I've pasted into a bigger pic as a seperate layer, how can I use the brush tool to just colour in the face, not the bigger pic? As I said the face is a seperate layer but just randomly drawing just colours everything.

Thanks in advance - with this knowledge I should be able to make my Derek Acorah/no-hands/lassie birthday card just fine.

You can select the area outside the face with the magic wand, press ctrl+shift+i (to select just the face) and then draw (on another layer is best), although there are a miriad of other methods.
