... I'm going to be a journalist - it's as easy as quoting board posts and reading the FAQ!
Edit: While I'm loitering: can anyone recommend a fantastic/sexy semi-pro digital camera for about £250?

# Tell me,
if they say that they will give xBoxs to the best images, and people do work based on this, are they not contractually obliged to supply the boxes to the best entrants, even if they pull it?

# I think
it would take a brave man to ask. They may not be too receptive right now. Got 'em some publicity though.

# Fuck 'em,
I'm a brave man. If they are daft enough to ask, despite warnings, then they get what they deserve.

Speculative work is seldom fruitful, but if one submits speculative work ont he basis that there is a guaranteed contract for the winning bid then that has to be honoured.

My freelancers'd go tits if I asked for submissions when there was no work.

# Good point, well made.
They should have known what was going to happen if they'd done their homework. Tell you what, I bet someone's bollocks are on the block for it.

Press release if they don't cough up by next week. MediaWeak, The Guardian and others would love to run on them welshing on the deal in their diary columns.
