Haha, that would be the main usage of one for me.
I got a 17" with my desktop, I had the option for a 19", but the 17" version was a cheaper deal =)
Also, 19" is a bit big.

I use 2 21" CAD monitors side by side for surfing and painting and my gaming machine is plugged into my 32" LCD HDMI Panasonic Viera. Bigger monitor means higher resolution which means better, crisper image and more on screen.

Also, browser bigotry is so childish. There is nothing wrong with IE. People who have issues with it are just not savvy enough to configure their PCs for proper protection.
