This.
I only use my left eye.
I spent much of my formative years staring at those magic eye things to no avail.

I can do those in a matter of seconds
as I have a stigmatism, or something. Basically if I don't keep it pointing forward my eye fucks off round the side- all I need is to let it go a touch and BAZINGO! Magic Eye is revealed.
It can feel a bit odd though.

How are you with stereographs?
I can never get the sodding things even vaguely close together no matter how much I un focus my eyes.
Stupid good eye muscles.

Stupid good eye muscles.
I can do magic eyes, but not stereographs.

I had a wall-eye when I was a kid, which was corrected when I was 9.
I think it still swings a little when I'm really pissed or tired, but other than that I don't use it. I can see through it, just my brain chooses not to use it much of the time.

one of my favourite things to do
is to be talking to someone, and then be interrupted by someone on my right- I just let my eye go and look at them as well.
I've been accused of being part chameleon due to this.

I swear there is a massive conspiracy behind those things.
I have never been able to do them, so the only explanation is that they were invented by parents to keep their children sitting quiet and still for long periods of time.
