Karl Rove used the nutty christian types to get the vote out for Bush, but now they've taken over the party, and support people like Palin who don't appeal to the majority.
With a bit of luck, the Repubs will be out of power for at least 8 years.
Thank christ the grown-ups are back in charge. Obama will probably end up disappointing, but today feels very, VERY good :D
