I'm updating my frankly poor website and wondered what you chaps thought of this:

Any suggestions on the layout? I'm still on quite basic html, but I have been playing with css sheets.

but what I will do is run it past our bird section tomorrow, who tend to have an almost obsessive interest in all things avian

I'm honestly not whoring the book here, just looking for advice/comments on the style, or lack thereof.
But if there's an interest, the book's out in a week or so (the proof copy has to come back from the printer first).

i bunked a day off and went birding with a friend near the french border and there was a Black-winged Kite. Only the sixth to have ever been seen in Switzerland and it was a stunning bird.
