driving a transit van for the first time today I got it stuck on a hilly windy lane in the middle of nowhere, at midnight, the exhaust got stuck in a bank so the engine wouldn't start till I had to dig the mud out with practically my bare hands, and then with a friend (who owns the van) trying to get it unstuck from the bank - had to get lots of rocks to get some grip

leaving him & family+friends camping out on a hill, so had to call him for help to get unstuck, and then he got a call from the camp saying some drunk twunts who were camping nearby were 'in the vicinity' which severely increased the urgency to get the van unstuck and him to get back and tell them to fuck off
finally managed it, but it left me somewhat shaken - don't like driving at the best of times, prefer my own two wheels of my electric bike

the way you say "in the vicinity" makes me think they're armed in some way

I'll find out tomorrow what happened/didn't happen when I drive back
hopefully it was an uneventful situation

This is my only (I promise) plush monster:

I bought him because he was at once the most pissed off and the most pathetic (being sold as a doggy chew toy for two bucks) stuffed animal I'd ever seen, and as a retail worker I identified completely.
Also, while he vaguely resembles Eeyore, his nose is clearly a plaid and electric blue circumcised cock.
The retail job is gone but I still like him.

I never understood them, dumb defenceless creatures, much like the dodo

as Adorability Factor rises, general happiness in the area rises and the number of deaths and injuries decreases - but only up to a certain threshold. once the threshold is hit deaths and injuries dramatically increase to bring the factor back down again.

Guinea Pigs on the other hand are fucking awesome! Growing up we had lots of them, and at one point we had 8 as a result of one of them getting pregnant. They used to walk through the house in a big long line, one behind the other. They were super awesome :D

we had guineapigs as kids and yeah they were great, except cleaning out their cages and them eating any sort of paper they could get their paws on
one time we couldn't find one in the garden and discovered it had made it's way into the house and up two flights of stairs to it's cage!
the same one would love to lie down on it's side in front of a gas fire, till you walked round the corner and it got up and scurried off in it's usual guineapig clumsiness
