# I founds it.
I wanted your happy cats to recreate the Singing in the rain rape scene from A Clockwork Orange.
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 1:59, archived)

# one of those "situation went out of your depth/control" evenings
driving a transit van for the first time today I got it stuck on a hilly windy lane in the middle of nowhere, at midnight, the exhaust got stuck in a bank so the engine wouldn't start till I had to dig the mud out with practically my bare hands, and then with a friend (who owns the van) trying to get it unstuck from the bank - had to get lots of rocks to get some grip
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 1:56, archived)
# :(
move closer towards the left hand side of this chart to achieve happy bunnyhood
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 1:59, archived)
# I was driving the van home alone
leaving him & family+friends camping out on a hill, so had to call him for help to get unstuck, and then he got a call from the camp saying some drunk twunts who were camping nearby were 'in the vicinity' which severely increased the urgency to get the van unstuck and him to get back and tell them to fuck off

finally managed it, but it left me somewhat shaken - don't like driving at the best of times, prefer my own two wheels of my electric bike
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 2:05, archived)
# were the drunks a threat of some sort?
the way you say "in the vicinity" makes me think they're armed in some way
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 2:08, archived)
# not armed, just didn't want drunken teenagers around when there are young children sleeping
I'll find out tomorrow what happened/didn't happen when I drive back
hopefully it was an uneventful situation

# Here you go
This is my only (I promise) plush monster:

I bought him because he was at once the most pissed off and the most pathetic (being sold as a doggy chew toy for two bucks) stuffed animal I'd ever seen, and as a retail worker I identified completely.

Also, while he vaguely resembles Eeyore, his nose is clearly a plaid and electric blue circumcised cock.

The retail job is gone but I still like him.

# OK.

# I know, fucking rabbits!
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 1:53, archived)
# what purpose are rabbits?
I never understood them, dumb defenceless creatures, much like the dodo
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 2:06, archived)
# they raise the Adorability Factor of the location they're in
as Adorability Factor rises, general happiness in the area rises and the number of deaths and injuries decreases - but only up to a certain threshold. once the threshold is hit deaths and injuries dramatically increase to bring the factor back down again.
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 2:10, archived)
# I know, they make nice stew though!
Guinea Pigs on the other hand are fucking awesome! Growing up we had lots of them, and at one point we had 8 as a result of one of them getting pregnant. They used to walk through the house in a big long line, one behind the other. They were super awesome :D
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 2:12, archived)
# did yours ever go upstairs?
we had guineapigs as kids and yeah they were great, except cleaning out their cages and them eating any sort of paper they could get their paws on

one time we couldn't find one in the garden and discovered it had made it's way into the house and up two flights of stairs to it's cage!

the same one would love to lie down on it's side in front of a gas fire, till you walked round the corner and it got up and scurried off in it's usual guineapig clumsiness
(, Sun 19 Apr 2009, 2:19, archived)
# this is some awesome fluff
