if you put enough of anything - even water - into a human's bloodstream they will die, but that can be due to volume rather than toxicity. A 'dosage' of LSD which is several hundred million times more than the amount required to trip out will not have any additional effect on the mind or body, and will still be an incredibly small amount in terms of weight/volume.
I was going to use the example of that woman who was on a water 'diet' and died from drinking too much. I think that was more to do with electrolyte imbalance, but I suppose you could regard that as volume related.
