Top tip: don't post everything at once.
(The board only holds 15 threads. Two is okay; but grabbing > 2 would get people griping).
Here are more Top Tips, especially for n00bs.

(Whereas mine are basically obvious and petty).
Have you read "The Lightness of Being", by Frank Wilczek? (Physics). He makes the point that a shallow statement is either true or false, whereas a profound statement is much richer: it may be true (in some useful senses), while its opposite is also profoundly true.
(Something like that -- I haven't got it quite right.)

is that the contradiction of a truth is a falsehood, whereas the contradiction of a profound truth is another profound truth"
it may have been someone paraphrasing him though. but it's a profound paraphrasing

Cheers for the tips. I couldn't figure out how to upload and post both images in the same post. Will certainly take heed of the top tips in future.

They can't really expect you to do any work now you've handed in your notice, can they?

good news all round :D
A couple I know when to have their 17 week scan (what whatever it is) and the lady said she could secretly tell them what sex it was under the table if they wanted (apparently they're not allowed to do that any more because of having got in wrong and having been sued??)... anyway he knows and she doesn't. Sounds strange to me.
Also - turns out they expect me to do a lot of work... which I suppose is fair enough.
