breakfast:
1 slice of toast, thinly buttered
cup of tea/coffe, substitute sweeteners for sugar
apple or orange
lunch:
1 egg, scrambled on 1 slice of thinly buttered toast
dinner:
1 medium bowl of soup*
1 slice of medium white bread.
this should help you drop a bit of weight if you really want to!
*soup is made by putting 1 ham hock, 3 tins of carrots and 1 bag of red lentils in a large pan of water, bringing to the boil, then simmering for 1 hour. take the hock ot, remove all fat, shred meat, put meat back into the soup and blend.
delicious!

chewing every mouthful at least 20 times, and putting your knife and fork / whatever down between each mouthful.

do you have to get the operation reversed?
And does having a gastric bypass mean you can eat loads but nothing goes into your stomach? If so, erm, how does the food get out?

they remove 3/4 of your stomach and about 6 feet of intestines. you can only eat very small amounts, but you don't get hungry. for the first 3 months, i was on jars of baby food.
small jars.

small jars.

But shirley once you've reached your goal weight you will still keep losing weight if you can only eat tiny amounts?
But most importantly, the 6 feet of intestines, did they give it back to you in a jar?

my weight will eventually level out as my stomach will stretch a bit to fit more in. my mate's mum had it done, she's put a stone back on from drinking and eating junk.

had the gastric band op.
lost 2 stone on my own while i was waiting; then thanks to the pre-op diet i've lost another 1 and a half stone in just under 3 weeks.
Am already feeling lots better - though i have a fair way to go!
well done for your slimmicity! *hugs*

had my op on the weds before last and have lost another 6 kilos since.
the rules have changed slightly on the liver-reduction diet - now they stress fat-free over liquid-only - so you're still 'allowed' solid foods as long as they're hyper-lowfat.
I still did a whole 3 days of liquid-only just to be sure - and yes - i'm fucking SICK of jelly and yoghurt!

support group thinger in my area has an awesome clothes-swap thing
where you take in clothes you've slimmed out of, and you can pick up clothes in your size for free. they have tones of awesome stuff, most of it barely-worn because people are losing weight so fast.

seven grand if you go private, yeah.
Plus any aftercare beyond the package you buy, and anything like skin removal and face/boob lifts.
gets pretty costly [but then, so is a funeral and i know which i'd prefer to spend the money on]

go to a male doctor, crying always makes them feel uncomfortable. say your weight makes you feel hideous, you've stopped going out because you think people are staring at you and, on bad days, you feel suicidal. this will often do the trick.
