Yes I have read the faqs, I've been here long enough to know better and I know this isn't talk but
I need a favour.
My god son has been in and out of hospital (8 weeks in traction isn't fun for a ten year old) and needs cheering up.
His favourite cake is battenburg and I was hoping to use some of the wonderful images to make him a happy montage/card type thing.
Please can you helpful B3TAns post me up some of your battenburg pics (especially the rubiks cube one, he'll love that).
I assume I will also be flamed, but as long as I get some pictures I'll be happy.
Edit: you're all stars, thank you for your help and good wishes.

Troo Dat
I think I smell a "one word compo" coming on. Or has it bindun?
Judging from the sheer weight of Battenburg-based lunacy on here I would suggest that maybe it has...

8 weeks?
Christ. He'll be about 12' tall...
Nasty. I was in traction for a week when I was small; that was no fun at all. 8 must be horrible.

I am sadly utterly shit at arts (unless he wants some rain-sodden, gothic battenburg)
But I wish your god son all the best. Most of my extended family are medics, and I know how sad, tiresome, and downright boring it is for people in traction - particularly kids.
Hope he's out soon.

I wouldn't say you're shit at the arts
just that your stuff might not be the cheery up a small child needs
