bob goes to look for cleaner and says "ooh!"

Has anyone here played starship titanic? I am stuck! I am supposed to find a bit of chicken to feed to the parrot so that I can get one of the bits I need to fix the ship but do you think I can find the chicken anywhere? Well no I can't find it. HELP!

# ahhh

(, Wed 26 Jun 2002, 21:16, archived)
# Yep.
Just give that chicken image to the parrot. The parrot will do the happy parrot dance, revealing the ship part you need.

BTW - Is that the video game made by Douglas Adams?

# yuppers

(, Wed 26 Jun 2002, 21:29, archived)
# yeah great game
go to one of the residential floors with the food dispensers.
You need to get one of those chickens.
Obviously it's more complex than that but that is where you get the actual chicken.
(, Wed 26 Jun 2002, 21:23, archived)
# how's nobby the liftbot doing?

(, Wed 26 Jun 2002, 21:28, archived)
# it really is a very complex game.
it's fun to talk to them though
*NO SPITTING*
I dunno how much you want to just know or if you are after tips.
If you do a google search you can find walkthroughs for it.
I think you need to put a few toppings on the chicken to make it sticky then flavour it to the parrot's favoutie food - he keeps going on about them you should know what i mean. (there are some in the upgraded cabin - you've been upgraded right?)
(, Wed 26 Jun 2002, 21:31, archived)
# I can't
even find the chicken to put the toppings on! :( Maybe I should just go to bed.
(, Wed 26 Jun 2002, 21:36, archived)
# it's been a couple of years
but i'm fairly sure you use the machine and the chicken flys out you ned to catch the chicken and you can choose to put toppings on it once you've caught it. I'd go and relax in the arboretum or go have a kip as you suggest.

Good luck.
(, Wed 26 Jun 2002, 21:40, archived)

# makes
ya want to sing that bernard cribbins song about a hole in the ground...

There I was, a-digging this hole
A hole in the ground, so big and sort of round it was
There was I, digging it deep
It was flat at at the bottom and the sides were steep
When along, comes this bloke in a bowler which he lifted and scratched his head
Well we looked down the hole, poor demented soul and he said

Do you mind if I make a suggestion?

Don't dig there, dig it elsewhere
Your digging it round and it ought to be square
The shape of it's wrong, it's much much too long
And you can't put hole wher a hole don't belong

I ask, what a liberty eh
Nearly bashed him right in the bowler

Well there was I, stood in me hole
Shovelling earth for all I was worth
There was him, standing up there
So grand and official with his nose in the air
So I gave him a look sort of sideways and I leaned on my shvel and sighed

Well I lit me a fag and having took a drag I replied

I just couldnít bear, to dig it elsewhere
I'm digging it round co's I donít want it square
And if you disagree it don't bother me
Thatís the place where the holes gonna be

Well there we were, disscussing this hole
A hole in the groud so big and sort of round
Well it's not there now, the groundrs all flat
And beneath it is the bloke in the bowler hat

And that's that
