I've just found: http://www.pbase.com/photos/random.html, which serves up 12 random image from the millions of photos on pbase.com. Excellent for those low hummus moments. I'm just trying to work out what to do to this kid

But can't find any of the optimization options... Was going to lower the colour depth a bit too, but currently new to IR. Please enlighten me...

see the optimisation window by going to window>optimise
from there you can drop the number of colours, and change the dithering options (the default is diffusion, but you can probably just set it to 'no dither')

There may be the odd weird bit - the first track was quite a poor mp3 so the quality is a bit iffy for 3 mins. (It sounds great on CD though)

I literally just started with the first 3 tunes and played out a live mix with mediaplayer/winamp/wavplayer (recorded with soundforge) and looked around randomly picking cool songs while the current one was playing then trying to estimate mixing.
(This means the volume can have a few rises and dips overall)
