This is a question Image Challenge suggestions

We think a good challenge idea is like the opening line of a joke, say "If ads told the truth... Guinness would say 'It makes you fat, and your shit turn black.'"

Maybe you have other ideas.

We're going to leave this thread open, so feel free to add ideas at any time. BTW: Please use the "i like this" button. Your voting really helps the good ideas bubble-up, and the very best will be used in the Image Challenge itself.

The Rapture is coming and this time it's pissed off!
What if the rapture was true and we all had 1 year to go? how would advertising change if they knew that they had only 12 months till the end?

Invent a children's TV show
Wombles, teletubbies, magic roundabout, clangers, button moon... it seems the key to a classic children's TV show is being a special kind of mental.

So, crack out the fuzzy felt, finger paints, fairy liquid bottles and crack pipe and invent some new characters for the next generation to adore, then later blame their mental health problems on.

COMICS
The comic industry is not as booming as it was in its heyday. Bring back the good old days, or just completely destroy them.

Inappropriate greeting cards.
Forget Fathers day and Mothers day, how about special days for terrorists, psychopaths, paedophiles, murderers or rapists.

beauty products with fake science
You've all seen adverts where the beauty product for an issue you never knew you had bolsters itself with astounding-sounding science FACT. Does it contain polypeptide micro-nutra-ceremideic acid capsules, or does it go to work on the DNA reproliferation enhancement process? Shop us up a product.

what if fossils were actually what we really wanted to find...
I was watching Bill Oddie talking about fossils. When I had a mindflip. What if fossils were just stains and cracks that our mind interpreted as bits of lizards or shells.

So to prove this hypothesis there should be plenty of fossils that look like boobs, penises, cats playing keyboards or secure diversified pension portfolio's. Well is the evidence out there?

Fairground rides gone wrong
from basic attractions like the 'Tax Dodgems' through to the more painful experiences such as a 1 trip only Pass to ride the 'Razorwire Rollercoaster' ("your neck must be this height in order to ride"). The rather colourful fairground signs and banners could make it quite a pleasing artistic challenge as well.

Technology and Old People
My mother thinks the internet is magic. She rings me up on her cordless phone and her mobile phone (at the same time) and gets me round so I can type a text message on her phone, just in case she presses the wrong button and it gets lost in cyberspace and it never gets to my idiot brother who lives around the corner. She regularly fucks up the tv remote by pressing AV and she runs between the modem and my computer going "It's magic!".

Reverse Engineered TV shows
I caught Kirstie and Phil's Vacation Vacation Vacation the other day an couldn't help think that they started with 'what else could we have those two get up to that sounds like Location?'

So what other programmes could our TV channels dream up name first, who would appear and what would we expect to see?

BTW I'm reserving Kirstie's Lactation Lactation Lactation. ;)

News that will not be reported now there is no more News of the World.
Plenty of room for creative ideas with celebrities/polititians or companies and their products, could be news old and new, and maybe even from the future! Or even just sh*t news.

Image challenge topic creating/choosing
Show us how the image challenges are created or chosen, as we all know they're not actually chosen using that poll thingy and that real people don't make any of the suggestions that we get to pick from.
