Given the variation in weather do you believe in climate change? If you do, do you think it is a man made problem or a natural one? If not, why not?
ALT - dunno - something about tits.

As for the weather, clearly we're affecting it, although I'm not sure if we have enough data yet.
Although it stands to common sense that it doesn't do to go futzing about with a highly delicate system that we could well know next to nothing about.

but it's sad that you're a bit ignorant, and basically a bit racist.

Ex missus is from Barbados, that's a foreign country, where people are a different colour.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:24, Reply)

Which demonstrate ignorance.
And despite the EDL constantly going on about how they aren't racist, they just don't the extremist muslims, what it's really about is underlying racism to "those brown fellas coming over here and changing our ways".
Which is why I'm of the opinion that your stance indicates a bit of a racist mentality.
Good job your best friend is black though.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:28, Reply)

and said this was a council decision.
I'm not racist in the least, I just don't like extremism.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:34, Reply)

"I'm not a fan of the Islamicification of this country."
"Try visiting North Manchester mate."
"We don't construct mosques, preach hatred or protest Christmas."
And on every single point you totally failed to defend it in any way and simply moved on to the next until you eventually arrived at
"I beg to disagree on the last statement, friend of mine is a music teacher, and Christmas things at school are not allowed."
And at no point did you produce any evidence that "Islam" was behind Christmas celebrations not being allowed. Only now have you said that it was a council decision, if you knew that from the off, then you bringing that into a discussion about your distaste for "islamification" is highly disingenuous.
My point is, you have a problem with "Islam", don't start saying it's just extremists, everyone has a problem with extremists, but nobody else has started saying they have a problem with "islamification".
And it's my opinion that your problem with islam stems partly from ignorance, and partly from being a being a bit racist, since these two factors are behind the vast majority of people that I've heard espouse your kind of views.

there isn't enough evidence to say. I think weather change is happening, slower than what they want us to believe. I think most of it is natural, although we're helping, but not that much.
Having said so, I think as well that, even if it's not our fault that the weather is changing, we should act responsibly and try to generate less waste, recycle, reuse and use more renewable energies.

I got breast shells. I have very sensitive nipples and thought they'd work better. They don't leak that much that I have to use them all the time, though.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:15, Reply)

My wife is breastfeeding. Her boobs look magnificent but I am not allowed near them. I get my own back by making suckling noises which causes her boobs to leak.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:14, Reply)

Very bad.
Mark prefers small tits, so he's not so excited about mine; although he says it's nice that I finally have some cleavage.

All these American nutters going "There's no such thing as global warming so it doesn't matter if I drive this ridiculous polluting car" are idiots. Pollution is fucking disgusting even if it isn't causing global warming.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:14, Reply)

They should think of the planet as of their home, even if it sounds a bit hippy. You wouldn't just through rubbish on your home, or smoke it up so badly that all the walls got black, so why do you do it out there?
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:17, Reply)

It just seems so unlike you, haha
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:17, Reply)

Well, the question said tits, so I tried to stay on topic :P
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:19, Reply)

And even if I am wrong, there's no harm in acting as if it's definite anyway. That's what I really don't understand about deniers. What harm can possibly be done by trying not to fuck things up?
Alt: When I was really young, I was in the car on a long journey and I sang 'Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro, can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow?' and my Dad told me to stop and asked me who taught me that grown ups song.
I think that said more about him than he intended it to.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:15, Reply)

I had to read your post several times and still took me a while to understand why your father thought that song was rude. Dirty mind, he's got.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:18, Reply)

The first poem he taught me, which I promptly told a teacher and got told off was
Ships on the water, smooth as glass
I saw a monkey sliding on his ask no questions
tell no lies, I saw a chinaman doing up his flies are a nusiance
bugs are worse, that is the end of my little verse.
Not dirty really, but not the best thing to teach a five year old.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:32, Reply)

Unless you think the word chinaman is racist and kids shouldn't say it.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:42, Reply)

sliding on his arse/ask no questions
and flies being the bit that gentlemen zip up and down when they need a wee wee, which is rude when you are five...
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 13:05, Reply)

Ok so you might not believe in climate change, but we are wasting a lot of "stuff" and we shouldn't waste so much "stuff" and we're too reliant on other countries for our energy needs so why fight against the green movement.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:18, Reply)

I tried to convince them by comparing their every day lives and how they wouldn't want to wast their money or time, so why wasting anything else... most of them buy food for a family twice the size of their family and end up throwing away a full fridge every week.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:21, Reply)

"the economic damage caused by trying to pander to these ignorant people who believe in climate change will be awful for us all"
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:21, Reply)

Developing countries can't see it yet, because they usually have a lot of raw material, but in Europe and the States, making machinery and factories more efficient means less waste, which means more product/energy saved. The initial cost might be more expensive, but the profits are a lot higher too.
It's like spending money on a car that consumes very little and has almost no emitions. Yes, it's more expensive, but yes, you save a lot on fuel and you recover the money pretty quickly.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:30, Reply)

*well ever since the gulf stream started you fucking pedants
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:17, Reply)

And yes, I believe we have massively impacted on global warning as a whole, but the refusal of so many places to change to a cleaner power (and also the fact they don't currently produce enough power) will always make this worse.
Alt: I am of the opinion that the best breasts ever seen in cinema are Erika Eleniak's in 'Under Siege'. I am also of the opinion that the worst are Keira Knightley's in 'The Hole'.

I'm assuming that the two of you are around the same age as me and probably experienced this delight for the first time aged around 11ish when it was broadcast on ITV. They were indeed lovely, but also a significant first (may not have been the actual first, but first enduring memory)

Or rather the fact that it's man made. I am not arrogant enough to thing I know better.
Alt, they are lovely and have smashing personalities.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:29, Reply)

was the BBC trying to be "balanced" by always having a climate change sceptic on when they had a person who thought that anthropogenic climate change was a real issue.
He said that if they actually wanted to reflect the balance, they should only have a "sceptic" on opposing every few hundred interviews, as that was the kind of ratio you had amongst genuine scientists.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:31, Reply)

I'm very much pro BBC and happy to pay my licence fee and more if it went up, but their intent to be 'balanced' goes way too far and allows every minority viewpoint to get equal air time regardless of worth or merit.
That's how we end uo with coalition governments, I'm sure.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:35, Reply)

I'm not well read on the subject, but everything I've seen agrees. it also agree that the consequenses of not taking this seriously, now, are much, much worse than those of trying to fix it and being wrong.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:38, Reply)

As Chompy said, UK weather has always been variable.
Of course I believe in climate change, this planet is not always the same distance from the sun. Climate change is a natural phenomenon, this is not in dispute. The argument is whether our behaviour is accelerating the current changes, which the majority of scientists (using empirical data) believe is the case. As these people are cleverer/better qualified/have done more research into it than me, I am inclined to trust their judgement.
Alt: I like breasts.

Firm and pert. Petite. I like petite but she is petite all over so it works so well. When she breastfed she went up to a D cup and these massive things just looked daft on her. I am quite frankly glad that she's back to normal now. Must be odd for a woman to suddenly have massive ones and then in a few short days be back to normal.
( , Fri 7 Oct 2011, 12:41, Reply)
