Anyone doing anything fun this evening
I'm gonna be job hunting, what does this evening hold in store for you?

Alt: Brand loyalty. Do you have any, if so, what is it?
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:19, 172 replies, latest was 14 years ago)
probably some work and making dinner.
Depends what time Mrs B's netball match is.

Alt: Not at all, although I do seem to have slightly more Apple stuff than is generally healthy, but that's just because I'm lazy.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:21, Reply)
I've never bought any Apple products.
I was given an iPod a few years back, but I'd rather use my phone.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:22, Reply)
fair enough.
I just can't be arsed to keep PCs free of malware, to be honest.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:28, Reply)
*looses all respect for Badger.*

(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:33, Reply)
fair enough.
It just doesn't interest me. There isn't enough time in my life to be interested in everything around me, so something has to give. Macs remain quick and functional in my possession way longer than PC laptops so it's a no-brainer for me. Doesn't mean I think they are "better" except in this one regard.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:35, Reply)
Going to the docs for sleeping pills.
Then coming home, taking the pills and I might see how long I can keep posting after I've taken them, for the lulz. then sleeping.

Alt: Victorinox, Levis(2nd hand) and German Para boots are the only things that spring to mind. Oh and Fairy liquid. and HTC I think that's it.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:24, Reply)
yay
last time was great fun
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:26, Reply)
Well this was my thought.
I was just going to take them and go to bed, but then I thought, why not enjoy the experience. SO, doctors at 8, I'll take a couple as soon as I get in, full freakout by 9ish followed by an early night.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:28, Reply)
If I recall it was fairly tragic

NO BULLYING!

(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:29, Reply)
What is this 'fun' of which you speak?
No, in essence. I'm going to list some stuff on ebay.

I like sony vaio laptops.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:27, Reply)
'fun' is when you do stuff that isn't important stuff
What are you selling?
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:28, Reply)
Stuff I don't need
moving to Oxford involves downsizing. Again.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:29, Reply)
When are you moving and what sort of place have you got?

(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:31, Reply)
Start of March, studio flat
piddly wee place but at least I don't have to share a kitchen with a grubby bunch of cunts and there's a power shower.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:33, Reply)
That'll be nice, your commute will be piss easy.

(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:34, Reply)
Still a four mile, thirty minute cycle
but it beats the shit out of 1hr 20min one way...
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:37, Reply)
It won't take you half an hour to cycle 4 miles.

(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:43, Reply)
Not on the flat, no, but it's all uphill...
then there's traffic lights and mentalist pedestrians etc (of which there are many in Oxford)
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:46, Reply)
But coming home from work you'll be able to take your feet off the pedals
And scream 'Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!' as you free-wheel home.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:47, Reply)
Fiiiiirst, when there's nah-thing

(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:53, Reply)
Dunno, why don't YOU say she has a face like a welder's bench.
She'll only have a go at me about it anyway.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:57, Reply)
Well if you will make these horrible comments, then she will have a go at you.

(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:59, Reply)

Roota still cops the reply. I tell you. it's a conspiracy.

Right now cooking curry and drinking beer
Later eating curry and drinking beer. Some childcare will be fitted into this also.

Alt: no, I like to try new things.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:29, Reply)
Jobhunting as well *high fives*
Alt: None that I can think of. Maybe Diet Coke.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:29, Reply)

When I was at teh post office this afternoon
I was enjoying a gossipy rant with teh shop owner about how useless call centres are. He's a Brummie, by his accent, but obviously of Asian descent. I was so tempted to say "and you never understand a word they say either".
But I didn't, because I would like to continue to shop there.
