Alt: You have £100 that may only be spent on a new electrical gadget. What would you purchase?
AltAlt: Share your best recipe.
*other than me.

I bet it would be pathetic. But I'm not sure how to push myself over the edge.
Alt: Fuck that, I'm saving up for a new camera, but everytime I save a certain amount, I see one a bit more expensive that I want. So I'd just get one £100 more expensive than the next one I see.

it's like the more recent version of my old D70. Good choice on nikon, too, btw. The silent wave motor lenses are nice

that is a nice camera and does the trick - I'm not a big fan of the big zooms (I have a couple of lenses for that) but that depends on how you use them

Actually, that's about as much advice as I need. "It's not shit" is all I really need to know.

financially, arrogant, overbearing twats who pursued a policy of buying every camera shop up and branding it with their fucking logo.

also, they had a policy of getting rid of the long term employees who knew everything about cameras and replacing them with people who were good and selling things.

the whole lot of them got 20 minute redundancy notice.
Cuntbubble trick really.

they made us work every 2rd sunday (no other days off) for a few of months, then didn't give us a bonus we'd earned because the store had spent too much on having us work sundays. Effectively we worked sundays for free

Alt: Probably a digital camera, mainly keeping an eye out for those on offer. I don't particularly need a spectacular one though, so under £100 would be fine.
Alt Alt: I'm very happy with the way my Spicy BBQ pork and tomato dish came out, so it's probably that atm. Was just diced pork with a BBQ rub on it, fried, add onions, green peppers and sweetcorn to the pan, then add passata, season to your hearts desire, serve with rice. I used jerk seasoning and a little cayenne pepper in mine, was lovely!

Whereas I've found that it doesn't affect the pictures as much on digital cams, even the less expensive ones.

and are often fiddly to use (ie my compact one I can turn on straight away, not have to footle round finding camera mode). I've got a waterproof compact for larping. I want one of these though
