For example, there was a guy I was at Uni with.He went skiing once a year - for a week. Somehow skiing seemed to be his only topic of conversation for the rest of the year. I kid you not. Whatever you said to him, he would come back with "Yeah but I can ski and you can't." That's a major zing, right there.

Never been skiing or snowboardingNever wanted to as a kid even though I had the opportunity to go with the school. I have even less inclination to go now having seen the operation scars on the legs and arms of my mates who were skiers!

I have never done eitherbut I like ice skating. I used to do that a lot when I was younger. Between skating and horseriding, my knees are royally fucked. I think if I tried skiing as well, I'd probably be the spaz that breaks something.
The youngest granddaughter is a champion skier. She's completely fearless, does all teh black runs and that.
