I recommend a trip to oddbins for some thirst sating nectar. The clouds will clear and you will see the light, just tell work you have a bloobloocold and the medicines are making you all 'swizzy'

easiest recipe out there, I tend to use soft brown sugar as it adds a better flavour IMO, but give it 3 months gently shaking from time to time to mix it up and then decant into some nice bottles

This usually leads to people picking them earlier and earlier, a kind of race to the bottom. Then no one has nice sloe gin. The tragedy of the commons.
